Liz makes chocolate peanut butter cookies

You know what's better than chocolate and peanut butter together in one sugary and tasty dessert? If you asked me yesterday, I probably would have said absolutely nothing. However, when I went to go make a batch of delicious pb and chocolate cookies this afternoon, I realized I didn't have an egg. So I now have an answer to my previous question: chocolate and peanut butter cookies that don't require a trip to the grocery store in order to buy some eggs. Let's get to baking!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
3 tsp milk OR cream OR yogurt OR water
1 1/4 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Put all of the sugars, peanut butter, butter, cocoa powder and milk (or equivalent) in a bowl.
Mix until well combined.
Now mix in the rest of the ingredients.
Form dough into balls about 1/4" in diameter. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Using a fork, press down on each ball of dough and make a criss-cross pattern.
Bake for about 8-10 minutes and then transfer to a cooling rack. Let cool completely before eating. This should make about 35-40 small cookies, but I don't know exactly how many because I totally dropped a whole cookie sheet of them on my kitchen floor. Oops.
The ones that didn't fall on the floor turned out to be absolutely delicious though!
Have a great weekend!
Love, Liz
