Liz makes color-blocked crocheted slippers

Today I made some cute slippers for my Etsy shop. I used the same exact pattern as these slippers I made awhile back, except I switched colors after a little while so they ended up color-blocked! I love them, but I made sure to make them smaller so I wouldn't be tempted to keep them. After the jump are some more pictures.

I made them to fit foot sizes 5 - 8.5 because I figured that was the average shoe size for American women. Of course, I don't fall into that category because I'm a giant amazon woman and wear size eleven shoes. These slippers stretch to fit my feet (as seen in the first picture), but they're not as pretty as they could be on smaller feet.
Here's a link to the Etsy product page if you're interested in purchasing them. What do you think of them? I love the color-blockedness of them. Yes, I realize color-blockedness isn't a word but you know what I mean. I hope you all have a happy new year! What are your new year plans?
