What Liz wore

It's been raining here, which is nice, but not nice for outfit posts. The one time I fix a bun successfully, it's windy outside. You think I'd check the weather before I decide what to wear, but I don't. I made this shift dress a couple of years ago (with help from my mom) and I really like it. It was a headache to make, but it looks nice. I also tried some thick eyeliner. I rarely wear eyeliner this thick, but I think dramatic eye make up works well when your hair is up.
dress = handmade by me, vest = thrifted, leggings = walmart, shoes (not shown) = thrifted,
clutch = handmade by me, earrings = gifts

The clutch I'm holding is one I made awhile back. You can find the tutorial here.
What's one of your less expensive outfits?
Love, Liz

  1. Your hair looks SO good. And less expensive? I just posted a post where I'm wearing a sweater I got for 4 dollars at Goodwill!

    2. Dear Liz, I sometimes do a sock bun, too, but recently I bought a special part for a bun. But I like to repeat the I like your hair-do so much!

Regarding your comment to my recentyl post: this was my thought too, dear Liz Lewis, when I saw first this shirts from Markus Lupfer but they are so expensive. Of this cause I was so happy when I discovered this shirt :-)

    1. Thank you Helen! It honestly was not so easy to make; I wish I could tell you otherwise. I'm not too great at making big sewing projects (like outfits) as I don't have much patience. ;) I would love to look at your blog.
