Liz makes double chocolate butterscotch brownie cookies.

I know, I know, double chocolate butterscotch brownie cookies sounds like a mouth full. Though, it's a lot better than the first name I chose: the most heavenly, delectable, scrumptious, mouth-watering, chewy brownie-like cookies to ever bless your mouth. Even though they totally deserve that title, because they're all of that.

Ingredients: 1 egg, 1/2 cup softened butter, 3/4 cup white sugar, 1 cup flour, 1/3 cup cocoa powder, 1/4 teaspoon baking powder, 1/8 teaspoon salt, 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate baking chips, 1/2 cup butterscotch baking chips. Recipe yields two dozen cookies.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In large bowl, mix butter, sugar and egg together until fluffy. In separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture slowly while mixing, until well incorporated. Fold in chocolate and butterscotch chips. Use a large spoon or an ice cream scoop to drop rounded spoonfuls of dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake for eight to ten minutes, or just until set. Let cool on cookie sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire cooling rack.

Eat up! Hope you enjoy them.

Love, Liz
