I absolutely love Christmas. Giving gifts, getting gifts, spending time with family, eating cinnamon rolls for breakfast... It's great. But when you live in a small apartment, sometimes a big, fluffy tree just won't cut it. Space is precious in our shared 600 square feet and a giant tree would leave us gasping for air. I decided to fix that problem while also only spending ~$5! Score!
All you'll need is some green post-it notes, some leaf-looking post-it notes, some construction paper, tape and a pair of scissors.
Make a triangle shape with the post-it notes and sprinkle the leaf-shaped notes throughout. I did this on my fridge because, honestly, it's the best place in my apartment, but this would look great on a wall. Easy right?
Now grab the construction paper and the scissors. Cut a star out of one piece and a tree trunk from the other. Tape to the top and bottom and put some gifts under it!
Now all you have to do is wait for Christmas to come!
Love, Liz
