Liz makes embroidery hoop art: Mean Girls quote

Whether you like it or not, Mean Girls became a cult classic when it came out ten years ago. I love the movie. I can quote the whole thing without the movie even being on. Quotes such as "so fetch," "on Wednesdays we wear pink," and "you go, Glen Coco" from the movie have landed themselves on t-shirts, coffee mugs, pillows, phone cases, etc. My favorite moment from the movie, and therefore my favorite quote, has got to be when Gretchen Wieners says "you can't sit with us!" I decided that since I've gotten really into embroidery lately, I'd just have to embroider it.

I used a really small embroidery hoop for this one -- 4" to be exact.

Here's the pattern I made. Since all it is is text, it's really simple to make. All you have to do is hold the pattern under your fabric, trace with a pencil (water soluble is preferable) and start stitching!

I used a simple back-stitch and that's it. You could definitely use a split-stitch if you wanted, but I really like the look of the back-stitch.
