Liz makes a crocheted cowl

This past weekend, my mom and I went to Hobby Lobby. They had a ton of yarn for sale, and there were four skeins of Vanna's Choice (by Lion Brand) for $1.43 each. What a deal, right? Four skeins of yarn for $5.73! Awesome! Anyway, so I crocheted a headband (which I will share with you guys at another time) and then I used the rest of the skein for this pretty scarf.

I used a double crochet stitch followed by two chain stitches (and then repeated a bajillion times). By doing this, I skipped stitches so it allowed for a more breathable cowl instead of a stiffer scarf. It's also super stretchy. I love it!
You can wear it in different ways, such as the option above. This is more of a cowl-look, instead of an infinity scarf look.
This option looks more like an infinity scarf. I think I like it best this way. Super cute, right?
You can find this scarf for sale on my Etsy shop, Essential Handmades. Thanks for stopping by and have a great week. :)

  1. Ahhhhh this is incredible! I wish I could knit or crochet. I would love one of these but four times the size, I am so obsessed with giant over sized infinity scarves that you can burrow in. But seriously, love the color and the pattern.

    1. You know, I was going to make it twice this size, but I thought I would start off with something smaller. Be on the lookout for a giant-sized cowl in the future! :)
