Liz makes a fabric-rosette headband

On a whim, I made this fabric-rose headband today. It was ridiculously easy. Yesterday, I found five headbands for under $3.88 dollars at Walmart, which is a crazy good deal, right? So today, when I was making these flowers, I thought I'd put one of those headbands to good use! Here's how I did it:

You'll need a loaded hot glue gun, some kind of fabric / lace or both, and a headband. That's it!
Cut a long strip of fabric 1" wide (Or one strip of lace, or one strip of fabric and one strip of lace) and cut the end to a point.
Next you'll need to roll the pointed end into a little tube thing. Keep rolling until you have a good looking center. Then take the fabric and turn/roll away from the center roll.
Keep rolling, rolling, rolling... Until it's as big as you want it. Then dab some more hot glue on the back and place the fabric onto the glue. Cut of the excess fabric.
Here are ones I made with just lace, and one I made with both lace and fabric. I did that by using a strip of fabric folded in half right next to a strip of lace folded in half.
I used a little more hot glue to attach them to this headband and wha-lah! A cute headband with flowers on it.
Easy, right?
Have a good week!
Love, Liz
