Liz makes a paint chip necklace

I've been admiring the paint chip necklace seen here for a long time. I really wanted to make one as soon as I saw it, but I didn't have a chain necklace, jump rings, jewelry pliers, a hole puncher or basically any of what she used except for the paint chips. Today I decided to make my own version. It's not perfect, but I think it turned out fine.
Here's what you'll need:
Scissors
Tacky glue
Paint chips
Triangle ruler
Pencil
Thin cardboard (think cereal box)
String (I used crochet thread)
Crochet hook (optional)
With your triangle ruler and a pencil, draw out a triangle piece. Cut it out and use that piece as a pattern for the rest so they're all the same size.
Now glue them onto the cardboard piece with your tacky glue.
Cut the cardboard around the triangles.
Now grab your string. I crocheted a chain with some crochet thread and a tiny crochet hook, but you can use anything you have. Use a necklace chain if you have one!
Glue it in place with your tacky glue. Place small pieces of paper (I used leftover paint chip pieces) over the string and glue it all down.
Let it dry completely. Now slip it over your head and wear it proudly! Just remember to take it off before showering. :)
It only took thirty minutes or so at the most to make, and it's a pretty cool fashion statement.
What DIYs have you done with paint chips lately?

Love, Liz
