Liz makes a recycled tin can vase

Okay, so maybe it's not a "vase" per se, but I didn't know what else to call it. However, I will tell you that this is one of the easiest and funnest crafts you can do. All you need is some cool fabric, a tin can, and a hot glue gun.

Okay, maybe I exaggerated a little. You might also need scissors (if your fabric isn't already cut to the size you need it to be) and some hot glue gun sticks for your gun.
Take the label off of your can if you haven't already done so.
Hold the fabric on your can sideways. Make sure there's extra on the top and bottom.
Glue it on!
And glue some more!
That's literally it. You probably didn't even need a tutorial for that because it was so easy and quick. It's perfect for this tissue paper flower Tyler's sister gave us, right? Right.
In other news, I organized my craft space today and it looks freakin' sweet. Thanks Target and Tyler and myself.
Have a great weekend! I'm going to go eat some nachos now, bye.
Love, Liz

  1. I love that fabric! I actually made one of these not too long ago, but I used a coffee can with the plastic lid, and i turned the can into a donation jar with a money slot at the top :)

    1. Thanks! My boyfriend told me to do the SAME thing with a coffee can he saved for me! Great minds think alike! I just wanted to use this fabric, so I had to use a smaller can. ;)
