Liz makes a raincloud mobile

I've been wanting to make something similar to this for awhile now, just because the idea is so cute. I finally found the time to make one today and it turned out really well. Oh, and just so everybody knows, this is my 200th post, y'all! How radical is that? Anyway, let's make a mobile.

First, you'll need to print and cut out this pattern. Make sure it's at 100%. You could also freehand one if you wanted; that's what I did.
Now cut out two cloud pieces and twenty raindrop pieces. I chose to do two raindrops in five colors, so I had to cut out four raindrop pieces in each color. It would also be cute in one or two colors. Do whatever you want.
Put two pieces together and sew a blanket stitch around. Make sure to leave a little gap open. Stuff with a little poly-fil and then sew closed.
Do the same with the cloud pieces.
Now's the tricky part. Arrange your raindrops how you want them to hang off of the cloud. Thread your needle with about 2 feet of thread with a knot at the end. Sew through your raindrops, making sure to tie a knot on both the top and bottom of the drops so they stay still.
Do this with all of the raindrops. Try and get the raindrops as even as possible.
To make it hang, thread a needle with two feet of thread and knot one end to one side of the cloud and knot the other end of the thread to the other side of the cloud. All done!

    1. I bet leaves (maybe without the cloud) and snowflakes would be awesome! Thanks for visiting!
