Liz makes sprinkle cookies

Today I made these sprinkle cookies. They were so good! And not to mention good-looking. I saw some similar cookies here and thought I could try them out, only with a different sugar cookie recipe.

Here's what you'll need:
1 1/2 cups flour (maybe a little more)
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt*
1/2 cup unsalted butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon honey
sprinkles

*omit salt if butter is salted.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In medium-sized bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside. In separate bowl, cream together sugar and butter. Beat in egg and honey. Add the flour mixture until well combined. Your dough should look like the picture above. If not, add in a little more flour.
Roll a medium-sized ball of dough in your hands. Maybe a little smaller than the one above.
Dunk it in a bowl of sprinkles. Just kidding, don't dunk it. But roll it around and make sure the whole ball of dough gets sprinkles on it! Place on cookie sheet and flatten with the bottom of a glass, so they're nice, round and flat. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until lightly golden. Let cool.

Enjoy!
Love, Liz
