<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLSh2Aa93r8YUo6lEw8FftZzGRuq221cqh22ICTzDAoJF9sE0gvsBFV857td3JDJY3jNtc78WgbqxrF8UzdbCFIrX0bhWdXdYalRMz2dH53FM81r7K23WNK_BHMhQNFlzvFGsrP_o9bUQ/s1600/_MG_6950.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="610" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLSh2Aa93r8YUo6lEw8FftZzGRuq221cqh22ICTzDAoJF9sE0gvsBFV857td3JDJY3jNtc78WgbqxrF8UzdbCFIrX0bhWdXdYalRMz2dH53FM81r7K23WNK_BHMhQNFlzvFGsrP_o9bUQ/s640/_MG_6950.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I love the $1 bins at Michael's. It's always filled with fun journals, pouches, pens, etc. The other day, I went into Michael's and saw these really cute, little frames. They were baroque-esque and completely adorable. I just had to get one. I don't really have a bunch of extra space on my desk, so I knew I couldn't put it there. So I came up with this idea to make it into a fridge magnet!</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
You'll need a frame (any size, really), some strong magnets, some glue (E6000 or hot glue) and a razor blade or a box cutter of some sort (not pictured).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4eim96P40vsDBynptRFdkv68gEK_voZCwovKEECrnVPmvE9JP-8lpwUf7zeLEja-oCftJZYNUXJTmvHTbH2sOmVm4WnLgZlfsIjtcLpD5XYQFT0q1RNp63WUMzuaqlCtDRh5Sbxjd1kE/s1600/_MG_6938.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4eim96P40vsDBynptRFdkv68gEK_voZCwovKEECrnVPmvE9JP-8lpwUf7zeLEja-oCftJZYNUXJTmvHTbH2sOmVm4WnLgZlfsIjtcLpD5XYQFT0q1RNp63WUMzuaqlCtDRh5Sbxjd1kE/s640/_MG_6938.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The back of your frame should look like this when you buy it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkmdk54d-z97DM0hkq1wCH1dQoruFmCBFIf0T89r6Fpv5En41OuzRHSuuX5-jsGo7klYnBOCO9BuNc65ROTnc2FBLX0KFj7VSFWRzkwEJw_aelqd1bu3cv94UYH8yB6tiH7x7V_PLOAaw/s1600/_MG_6940.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkmdk54d-z97DM0hkq1wCH1dQoruFmCBFIf0T89r6Fpv5En41OuzRHSuuX5-jsGo7klYnBOCO9BuNc65ROTnc2FBLX0KFj7VSFWRzkwEJw_aelqd1bu3cv94UYH8yB6tiH7x7V_PLOAaw/s640/_MG_6940.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Use a box cutter or a razor blade to take the back piece off.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhyYZ1oYH5wASj7NVyuWys2dnFv9_f9zVreB78XgC4FDCV1iB-uKk2YLmGYA4CQXtoHX2GZMQ3-qS3wmCPsKN_MuojPB5JBpuYVfxng6qWh3q29em40Ir7zoOMgf56-jg-SuuoIcwZihSk/s1600/_MG_6942.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhyYZ1oYH5wASj7NVyuWys2dnFv9_f9zVreB78XgC4FDCV1iB-uKk2YLmGYA4CQXtoHX2GZMQ3-qS3wmCPsKN_MuojPB5JBpuYVfxng6qWh3q29em40Ir7zoOMgf56-jg-SuuoIcwZihSk/s640/_MG_6942.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Use some extra strength glue to hold your strong magnets in place. Try to place the magnets where you won't be able to see them from the front.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjb7GRCCQ-VFUSCGNZCMD-diFaKOS_9W9SKpt5gxD1MWeb9N7rKCPhhPsk7iZtGqi_u1UHoLGDAocxTx-a3lJkIAO7DW5_sXOZkqr6ue5VSpxmlGoWizUri68-fFwgYtAtNN4qJ8ct4Tck/s1600/_MG_6946.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjb7GRCCQ-VFUSCGNZCMD-diFaKOS_9W9SKpt5gxD1MWeb9N7rKCPhhPsk7iZtGqi_u1UHoLGDAocxTx-a3lJkIAO7DW5_sXOZkqr6ue5VSpxmlGoWizUri68-fFwgYtAtNN4qJ8ct4Tck/s640/_MG_6946.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Let the glue dry and then put your new frame on your refrigerator!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj86tivfypA3Rh_s2VG2tumzBGvSJt-qSzIIYHOb9HTTZAOXr0DPc3nMvUQ6SFtr46O33tMknIHEOEdT0YL2Qjo8QiJfdqDyHGCGIlHz4HRw6EtlyhZin6W5fAo1hCOMYKzGsOhLfNgbkc/s1600/_MG_6956.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="578" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj86tivfypA3Rh_s2VG2tumzBGvSJt-qSzIIYHOb9HTTZAOXr0DPc3nMvUQ6SFtr46O33tMknIHEOEdT0YL2Qjo8QiJfdqDyHGCGIlHz4HRw6EtlyhZin6W5fAo1hCOMYKzGsOhLfNgbkc/s640/_MG_6956.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Until today, all of my sewing pins were stored away in -- wait for it -- a sandwich baggy. Yes, I was keeping my pins in the worst place possible to keep pins. I bought a whole butt load of felt today, so I decided it was time to make a pin cushion.</div>
<a name='more'></a><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I was thinking of making a plain tomato pin cushion, or possibly a strawberry pin cushion.. But I thought of this instead. I think it's pretty cute. But I'm biased of course.</div>

I'm a sucker for puns. Call me lame, but I think they're hilarious. I also (as you probably know by know) love to embroider. So when I saw a sweatshirt on Pinterest with the words "Namast'ay in bed" on it, I just knew I had to embroider it.</div>

Lately, my make-up has been all over my bathroom. I decided to make a little basket for all of it, and my inspiration came from <a href="http://howaboutorange.blogspot.com/2009/06/newspaper-basket.html">this post</a>. Mine needed to be a little smaller, because I don't own much make-up. Here's my version of the newspaper basket. Hope you like it!</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a name='more'></a></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div>
You need:</div>
<div>
Newspaper</div>
<div>
Scissors</div>
<div>
Tape</div>
<div>
Ribbon</div>
<div>
Tacky Glue</div>
</div>
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg36LTQdXh0Yw8CbWf2EdbiisKt_ZtaxICoB-TxjxL5Hd7TQifsTB4Wv-C0894yem8D8mJ47Zhl_LH9JluSyevVa-q_nvlJUipjdZtIe06GNGJart7kXKKtMhHQjvDzMh6IbKAhUMRSk0Y/s1600/_MG_5879.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg36LTQdXh0Yw8CbWf2EdbiisKt_ZtaxICoB-TxjxL5Hd7TQifsTB4Wv-C0894yem8D8mJ47Zhl_LH9JluSyevVa-q_nvlJUipjdZtIe06GNGJart7kXKKtMhHQjvDzMh6IbKAhUMRSk0Y/s640/_MG_5879.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
First, you need to cut a two-page newspaper spread in half, so it only looks like a one-page spread.<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgpagLP0h2L8Pj_HrEDGo_qWBCYJLsE-iELGpKXgUg8cmN_ErUFAaBxubqUwMlFMpC1M3wi2xrs6fy6dLBIW8j0nkRXxKCKJSB3-bW1G21w8mKR4-yMWRUNJNeyIsYrfFZ1m0WSQOu4jJg/s1600/_MG_5831.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="420" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgpagLP0h2L8Pj_HrEDGo_qWBCYJLsE-iELGpKXgUg8cmN_ErUFAaBxubqUwMlFMpC1M3wi2xrs6fy6dLBIW8j0nkRXxKCKJSB3-bW1G21w8mKR4-yMWRUNJNeyIsYrfFZ1m0WSQOu4jJg/s640/_MG_5831.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
Fold the newspaper across horizontally with a one-inch width, so the newspaper is as long as it can be. The folding technique is <i>very</i> similar to the <a href="http://liz-makes.blogspot.com/2013/01/liz-makes-recycled-newspaper-clutch.html">newspaper clutch folding technique</a>.</div>
</div>

When the bottom of your basket is large enough, fold what's left of your strips up and start weaving the sides, using tape as you go. I used <i>plenty</i>.</div>
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIMSM0kB2LGqIwvGS1OTsPade6vIxYfq51scFUNJCVT9bAQmmGwy4WPNTd9WSCamEw2tvv0zls_z2EuikZACGwqSe6BiCET493z8kewXRRXtQCo4zjOd8j8pQxjnmQoKSMIKjA78NcR9A/s1600/_MG_5837.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIMSM0kB2LGqIwvGS1OTsPade6vIxYfq51scFUNJCVT9bAQmmGwy4WPNTd9WSCamEw2tvv0zls_z2EuikZACGwqSe6BiCET493z8kewXRRXtQCo4zjOd8j8pQxjnmQoKSMIKjA78NcR9A/s640/_MG_5837.JPG" width="426" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
When the sides are as tall as you want them to be, fold the strips left standing over the top and tape them to the inside of the basket.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjX4fxk6K9tIpXUyJxixD8YrUYaHP6Qv7VQBDQa0qRKYHsiWBn4JXMhdb_Qkp7ZAuZ1f-3PR8IWF9TZZ3aoSyq53l1mGR1OzF-QpTUyWeH7xBVQqOld1L2t_mBhOO2wRyioXDdBURAApdk/s1600/_MG_5847.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjX4fxk6K9tIpXUyJxixD8YrUYaHP6Qv7VQBDQa0qRKYHsiWBn4JXMhdb_Qkp7ZAuZ1f-3PR8IWF9TZZ3aoSyq53l1mGR1OzF-QpTUyWeH7xBVQqOld1L2t_mBhOO2wRyioXDdBURAApdk/s640/_MG_5847.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
At this point, I used tacky glue to glue a strip around the inside top edge to make it look nicer and hide the ugly fold-overs. I also weaved some ribbon through the top to make it look a little girlier.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjW9PJtsO-0S8Bps3HlULlRFbii_zYxV_J-Fa1-k60RrntOp9MTavAp7rtEs80WOeaS-4z9QehvrKFfG7pTksDr426_2vx6Raf087Dg0BhWW63cvjROywcuCfTWivFzakpDFDbqqvCl1hE/s1600/_MG_5890.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjW9PJtsO-0S8Bps3HlULlRFbii_zYxV_J-Fa1-k60RrntOp9MTavAp7rtEs80WOeaS-4z9QehvrKFfG7pTksDr426_2vx6Raf087Dg0BhWW63cvjROywcuCfTWivFzakpDFDbqqvCl1hE/s640/_MG_5890.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
Now you're done! Now it's sitting in my bathroom holding all my make-up. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It only took an hour or so to make, and now my make-up has its own little space.</div>

A friend of mine, Rachel, over at <a href="https://www.etsy.com/shop/SimplyChic86" target="_blank">Simply Chic Jewelry on Etsy</a> let me have some absolutely beautiful jewelry to review. I love the jewelry she offers as I love druzy stones incorporated into jewelry.</div>

This teardrop-shaped, wire-wrapped, snow white necklace is just stunning. I love the way this necklace looks on me. The copper-colored metal finishing perfectly matches my hair. ;) </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
I absolutely love soft pretzels. Wetzel's Pretzels, Auntie Anne's, Target... All delicious. However, did you know you can make the same from home? I'll show you how in a few easy steps which only includes 8 simple ingredients and no mixer! Easy!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
You'll need:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- 1 1/2 cups warm water</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- 1 packet instant yeast</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- 1 teaspoon salt</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- 1 tablespoon sugar</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- 3.75 - 4.25 cups flour</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- 1 large egg</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
- coarse sea salt & butter for topping</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
(cinnamon and sugar would also be delish!)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdvBXdjRfNuD_k_PZCmwN610d7pr1B5Ruyo361xQrhBJJFOzh5pdjubwAIIFuNheJX6n-HclZouZnQr39Qx46AtcBG0taUamx3d4y-wGA8Xzvz1pjKe0E-uLKyBwI5vXz8UJKxrOGCmMc/s1600/_MG_6752.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdvBXdjRfNuD_k_PZCmwN610d7pr1B5Ruyo361xQrhBJJFOzh5pdjubwAIIFuNheJX6n-HclZouZnQr39Qx46AtcBG0taUamx3d4y-wGA8Xzvz1pjKe0E-uLKyBwI5vXz8UJKxrOGCmMc/s640/_MG_6752.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Spray baking sheet with cooking spray and set aside. Dissolve yeast into the 1 1/2 cups of warm water. Stir to help the yeast dissolve. Add salt and sugar, then slowly add flour, using a wooden spoon to help. Add flour until the dough is no longer sticky.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0vhnussJ4zUatbRodOllSO2d23QRH7D1ar3DYrflY7UYg9o_l4PBl47BS0fCPDmL1kXCDUbbVRpKDwsdpD087kQxcSwbEZyj6vkPw6Q717Ic2WrQHZMS-nEe2TAAr5hTtlqbKvEDN9Yk/s1600/page3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0vhnussJ4zUatbRodOllSO2d23QRH7D1ar3DYrflY7UYg9o_l4PBl47BS0fCPDmL1kXCDUbbVRpKDwsdpD087kQxcSwbEZyj6vkPw6Q717Ic2WrQHZMS-nEe2TAAr5hTtlqbKvEDN9Yk/s640/page3.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
When you poke the dough with your finger, it's ready to be kneaded. Sprinkle some flour onto your counter and place the dough on top. Knead for a few minutes.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSjLasK628scjqmq1Zw-EI4a_yC5DTy5t6Kd37kX8VjURTP0j0kkrbsw2yYJxg1AWt6OACwN6755q_ACMn2CGkRn1tKfLKwhGV1KiQY0vCdcBHv6TASBwqCFS7KqBQ7NrR2pGR3JMItu0/s1600/page1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSjLasK628scjqmq1Zw-EI4a_yC5DTy5t6Kd37kX8VjURTP0j0kkrbsw2yYJxg1AWt6OACwN6755q_ACMn2CGkRn1tKfLKwhGV1KiQY0vCdcBHv6TASBwqCFS7KqBQ7NrR2pGR3JMItu0/s640/page1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Separate the dough into 11 or so pieces. This doesn't have to be exact as your pretzels can be any size you want them to be, but that will change the baking time.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUPZ_HuSKWKtS-YuF6NExocyVtAGOmE8wPcFz0uODxHJeFr_Hm2IkEHBVz1M8jEFqmAWAqQBahPChDtrdlZQ59UM1lm4ariiP2TUZumTFTuxCdpLfe1tV46jLMTzKzWIYNX0MyR3U8OXo/s1600/_MG_6740.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUPZ_HuSKWKtS-YuF6NExocyVtAGOmE8wPcFz0uODxHJeFr_Hm2IkEHBVz1M8jEFqmAWAqQBahPChDtrdlZQ59UM1lm4ariiP2TUZumTFTuxCdpLfe1tV46jLMTzKzWIYNX0MyR3U8OXo/s640/_MG_6740.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Roll out the little dough balls into long ropes.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
Bake them for 10 minutes at 425 degrees and then take them out. Then turn the oven on broil and spread some butter on the pretzels and broil them for 5 minutes. Keep an eye on them so they don't burn.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
Allow them to cool slightly before devouring. They are so delicious and easy to make!</div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXKs7i1wcIlhgmz_HALVmBgX4PPUHQC6lnVNZRsXWlUKw1DfEAyVXarBDCpo61V6VjduChi-PQxUEITmzP79w1CbAKGqY8kBf6jTxgsfQzEBEz3Wlky03p27Gq9qXXP_aYkq26U8I1Avo/s1600/page.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXKs7i1wcIlhgmz_HALVmBgX4PPUHQC6lnVNZRsXWlUKw1DfEAyVXarBDCpo61V6VjduChi-PQxUEITmzP79w1CbAKGqY8kBf6jTxgsfQzEBEz3Wlky03p27Gq9qXXP_aYkq26U8I1Avo/s640/page.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I've been wanting to recover my chairs ever since we moved, which feels like yesterday but was FIVE MONTHS AGO! This year has just been flying by. Anyway, well I covered these chairs along with making a table cloth and a little valence curtain for my kitchen window. Here's how you can do it too:</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
First, we're going to make the top part of the chair. It's pretty easy. First, you'll just need to lie your fabric down on the floor and trace around your chair. Make sure to cut 1/2" around your pencil line which will give you seam allowance. Do this twice.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVu6bgYrY4RSAxGgNSfuaVR8le3NHPWRSaPJdIMqLIkUJd_TKGssRaRw6B4gRkkk_qk8Se6cud_tB_4DgNCjTIoqiVcCE5ZS4lXDWu96G-GjuRSYqAUkBnseY6cbJgWaSk_Y3WexeO-ss/s1600/_MG_6221.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVu6bgYrY4RSAxGgNSfuaVR8le3NHPWRSaPJdIMqLIkUJd_TKGssRaRw6B4gRkkk_qk8Se6cud_tB_4DgNCjTIoqiVcCE5ZS4lXDWu96G-GjuRSYqAUkBnseY6cbJgWaSk_Y3WexeO-ss/s640/_MG_6221.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So you should come out with two half circle pieces. Place right sides together and sew around the edge. After I took this picture, I got my pinking shears and cut a little closer to the seam.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWYrOidU7OzQVhl0fC1Q5wlXnbZzO0YaimLdGYCSSAt2wO26G7P87Bh0tLidVGGBRtW3_QFumCy7iGxa_rpUVrtt_XElV7aqVHVTLQx6lyp6pv33LWkx-NQwx2I0MyDhHyQpT_ep8LKK8/s1600/_MG_6223.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWYrOidU7OzQVhl0fC1Q5wlXnbZzO0YaimLdGYCSSAt2wO26G7P87Bh0tLidVGGBRtW3_QFumCy7iGxa_rpUVrtt_XElV7aqVHVTLQx6lyp6pv33LWkx-NQwx2I0MyDhHyQpT_ep8LKK8/s640/_MG_6223.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now fold the bottom edge over twice, pin it and...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHS7pLw_iMMtNHkrvRvAj4czjVSIlN_GmPm9lHmwrAEzOIQqBnybfBUhpDZaom3JacghBRSHBdVgXm60W9ofPIOyORc5Whbl3lJoDfpoCMdkS1iepNMuFVm9NzFt4TP16hsr-_Nc61POU/s1600/_MG_6229.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHS7pLw_iMMtNHkrvRvAj4czjVSIlN_GmPm9lHmwrAEzOIQqBnybfBUhpDZaom3JacghBRSHBdVgXm60W9ofPIOyORc5Whbl3lJoDfpoCMdkS1iepNMuFVm9NzFt4TP16hsr-_Nc61POU/s640/_MG_6229.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
...sew!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiAwt7AXkqAhwVJqne5EZKNgo_shgtTro10STL2aBuxwmId2Hh5AUIXGY4wj8RbG3AvWH4yhwogUF7LSbSK1VmC-vCZJbSRf3tpYIyFuz82X6PS0GAaPFLpZD5K7Nd4HaVKJWxVL8JqrQE/s1600/_MG_6231.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiAwt7AXkqAhwVJqne5EZKNgo_shgtTro10STL2aBuxwmId2Hh5AUIXGY4wj8RbG3AvWH4yhwogUF7LSbSK1VmC-vCZJbSRf3tpYIyFuz82X6PS0GAaPFLpZD5K7Nd4HaVKJWxVL8JqrQE/s640/_MG_6231.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Now for the seat part of the chair. Take a screwdriver and unscrew the screws holding the seat to the chair.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyL0j0BSOGfoRIASGxSLbJQCbS5OHs0CsLoh9XmFqe-PRguFGXVCrkC2OBNJHlblPCnmLEn4Y87yxb3554cSle_5X_cJv0fPfTH7MVsHww9z7Bs0W0-7cX5F2GfjRI8zm1f2m4H2NW4wY/s1600/_MG_6233.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyL0j0BSOGfoRIASGxSLbJQCbS5OHs0CsLoh9XmFqe-PRguFGXVCrkC2OBNJHlblPCnmLEn4Y87yxb3554cSle_5X_cJv0fPfTH7MVsHww9z7Bs0W0-7cX5F2GfjRI8zm1f2m4H2NW4wY/s640/_MG_6233.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now grab your hot glue gun and a square piece of fabric about 4" larger than your seat. Hot glue the corners...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5a69BXGQKD0kn6RiZ-_V7c2NHEGHqWjJrQbQsHBGNYaYMCp0rWkOuDOqBFyaScLS46PcqJIQhK1QypZVDauGKFq6Y_8a0NNlixROEEiUvn6gECx8c7LAvccAtNWLEq_iZtrdhjIjhIOI/s1600/_MG_6234.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5a69BXGQKD0kn6RiZ-_V7c2NHEGHqWjJrQbQsHBGNYaYMCp0rWkOuDOqBFyaScLS46PcqJIQhK1QypZVDauGKFq6Y_8a0NNlixROEEiUvn6gECx8c7LAvccAtNWLEq_iZtrdhjIjhIOI/s640/_MG_6234.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And then the rest of the fabric. You might want to also add some kind of batting or something else comfortable to sit on under the fabric. I didn't because we don't really sit in these chairs very often and I didn't see the need, but it might be a good idea.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjySjKupfLA3d8HbTyHcf-FLP28Xawnxm292cm30HxOWrGCNAXeHyh3OOuIMk5OCTPBHSLVXIP19x5QJk0wZGjhOuG9ZljXk-0WfKiut5gihYvtCLtzgQg9MMItzrbJPhRj33F78gz97zY/s1600/_MG_6235.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjySjKupfLA3d8HbTyHcf-FLP28Xawnxm292cm30HxOWrGCNAXeHyh3OOuIMk5OCTPBHSLVXIP19x5QJk0wZGjhOuG9ZljXk-0WfKiut5gihYvtCLtzgQg9MMItzrbJPhRj33F78gz97zY/s640/_MG_6235.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now screw the seat back onto the chair. The screws will go right through the fabric.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhs_Z668PlRSCH_2FnCRrO95xGid4v1M49XYxOCtW2vLgkVzXmUprDi93Cu7HS82sTu2GY9l4-UGBI2UzrQpAbvShaqvbcI5peNJVvKCDrb-a6txQ6DBpcMabW45OVhZ-Ke-7kS4ZVnrEc/s1600/_MG_6236.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhs_Z668PlRSCH_2FnCRrO95xGid4v1M49XYxOCtW2vLgkVzXmUprDi93Cu7HS82sTu2GY9l4-UGBI2UzrQpAbvShaqvbcI5peNJVvKCDrb-a6txQ6DBpcMabW45OVhZ-Ke-7kS4ZVnrEc/s640/_MG_6236.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Place your little slipcover over the top and viola, you're done!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjh2d72zeBEqPR9EPupUw5rvSDQ50MB121qQ20hVSBYcGJD0TgmJJadq1vprUY_n-pqzNSGEdISWoAPwihOmlv8fOpO6lBW9gqyatJznBi7WtqI5lrfQtT5QXzfuwVjOK6d2fWf3dJv0KY/s1600/_MG_6240.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjh2d72zeBEqPR9EPupUw5rvSDQ50MB121qQ20hVSBYcGJD0TgmJJadq1vprUY_n-pqzNSGEdISWoAPwihOmlv8fOpO6lBW9gqyatJznBi7WtqI5lrfQtT5QXzfuwVjOK6d2fWf3dJv0KY/s640/_MG_6240.JPG" width="426" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here's a before & after of my dining room space. I was using a shower curtain as a table cloth! I also turned my table so I have a bit more space.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidce9w9ug8AZqeaC45mXVZ___voUrBplTEE23nQ2SqOli2cQwKDGYkWSlFRGruWnvNTDDGTVYleDHKd2po5dmbX6Ac7oBx0PFLqsgn8j0PQPBVhzSJc3Oh4ECP01dL6hz8ypeInV6tn8U/s1600/page2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidce9w9ug8AZqeaC45mXVZ___voUrBplTEE23nQ2SqOli2cQwKDGYkWSlFRGruWnvNTDDGTVYleDHKd2po5dmbX6Ac7oBx0PFLqsgn8j0PQPBVhzSJc3Oh4ECP01dL6hz8ypeInV6tn8U/s640/page2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I think it looks pretty good if I say so myself. :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Have a great week!</div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEju4UiavO4m-pL59kRFM1mE_Wjj5991E0dZRSRSw8p5AHydhXOEPO6Z5uAUP8SBPLvWNIu-qfuHQW7xN8J8ELF_g_OrF-49j-ZmQEhfGRc5_NK5NVOjicmZQAsoHem-TWWSTAcv5Ll6DHI/s1600/_MG_6462.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEju4UiavO4m-pL59kRFM1mE_Wjj5991E0dZRSRSw8p5AHydhXOEPO6Z5uAUP8SBPLvWNIu-qfuHQW7xN8J8ELF_g_OrF-49j-ZmQEhfGRc5_NK5NVOjicmZQAsoHem-TWWSTAcv5Ll6DHI/s640/_MG_6462.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
When dreamcatchers were first introduced, the Ojibwe people used willow hoops and sinew cord made from plants. The dreamcatcher is a circle because it represent the sun and the moon. The Ojibwe believed that a dreamcatcher could affect a person's dreams. Only good dreams could be allowed to filter through and bad dreams would stay in the web, disappearing when the sun would come out. Good dreams would pass down through the feathers to the sleeper. Dreamcatchers have always been a popular decoration, maybe now even more so. They're a wonderful addition to any bedroom and now I'm going to show you how easy they are to make!</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
You'll need all of the things below, plus some kind of glue. I used a hot glue gun but E6000 glue would be more effective, I think.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjM_GYUJSpC1eyj7y7OJTxfdvE5rCV8ZPsVMGqudyWgEo8gGRA89tJFjXOeX8bS3Wux3PieRhf9dLR04tNOSECp2jJK0-7CjadZfFvxjeMrUvEgtaCFC7-5GPRXfzW8IEgUFJ_TXl0OrZU/s1600/_MG_6443.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjM_GYUJSpC1eyj7y7OJTxfdvE5rCV8ZPsVMGqudyWgEo8gGRA89tJFjXOeX8bS3Wux3PieRhf9dLR04tNOSECp2jJK0-7CjadZfFvxjeMrUvEgtaCFC7-5GPRXfzW8IEgUFJ_TXl0OrZU/s640/_MG_6443.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So you can either wrap the yarn around the metal hoop or crochet it, like I did. It's a much faster way to get the yarn around the hoop.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbJOxqcFO2k8eWQdqIU9Q4mQ2yICZPg4h-vrmWE6eg06zwZIIPH-jTregCr2kQK0-wFQLXFMR258ZUr0gJkoiVSN178jW2VWGN92vhHByq3XWtrVFEaVGPXUCqsr0qRA5RDRAeUybzAbA/s1600/_MG_6432.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbJOxqcFO2k8eWQdqIU9Q4mQ2yICZPg4h-vrmWE6eg06zwZIIPH-jTregCr2kQK0-wFQLXFMR258ZUr0gJkoiVSN178jW2VWGN92vhHByq3XWtrVFEaVGPXUCqsr0qRA5RDRAeUybzAbA/s640/_MG_6432.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It took probably half the time, plus I didn't really have to pay attention to what I was doing and could watch TV simultaneously because I'm an experienced crocheter. Double win!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkk2dJMHatYG70qxURlT5N3qbjPhETkWO4mKObI3aGAtTgJlhC4FIUbyA1wpzqul3wdji4PZPOd7FTMyFhvBT7eKJBn4dmkiwrBXFCaemTmTI7k2F4D6vHpa6sKUTtjsu7H4yxs-cbp-g/s1600/_MG_6433.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkk2dJMHatYG70qxURlT5N3qbjPhETkWO4mKObI3aGAtTgJlhC4FIUbyA1wpzqul3wdji4PZPOd7FTMyFhvBT7eKJBn4dmkiwrBXFCaemTmTI7k2F4D6vHpa6sKUTtjsu7H4yxs-cbp-g/s640/_MG_6433.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now for the hard part. I found this diagram online, which helped me a lot. There's also a ton of YouTube videos you can watch.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/ad/41/d1/ad41d1a09ee5c20577d13aa4e1c57f27.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/ad/41/d1/ad41d1a09ee5c20577d13aa4e1c57f27.jpg" width="433" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It should hopefully come out looking something like this. Of course, you can add beads or whatever too.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6xqmQD5hMGgYSf9sWeifYJYwaUWNPqtl2YTpTP8qIKB5upMok2EgUPenvKsVjxtjy6R5xFYGs9XvHdZVluDv77TcQ-9iQlVvNhnz7eVMeKxp8dinSitJ3nq8SCyRjwuwHREqrmhDtyGk/s1600/_MG_6434.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6xqmQD5hMGgYSf9sWeifYJYwaUWNPqtl2YTpTP8qIKB5upMok2EgUPenvKsVjxtjy6R5xFYGs9XvHdZVluDv77TcQ-9iQlVvNhnz7eVMeKxp8dinSitJ3nq8SCyRjwuwHREqrmhDtyGk/s640/_MG_6434.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Then I grabbed a jewelry bail and glued it to the back of a flat rock I found.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEiHcPcIJrm4ChyphenhyphenuaKfS4sNPaUROf9PCD_MzXAR3aKKdDQQd6tVUOYCIo55YCe65qO69c4eRR-sT-fZrE_ch-SjodEKR66cMbP7sCw7ZL3cLOr0gCNvyUAMQKot9JAr1fP4WjdVxp3x_g/s1600/_MG_6439.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEiHcPcIJrm4ChyphenhyphenuaKfS4sNPaUROf9PCD_MzXAR3aKKdDQQd6tVUOYCIo55YCe65qO69c4eRR-sT-fZrE_ch-SjodEKR66cMbP7sCw7ZL3cLOr0gCNvyUAMQKot9JAr1fP4WjdVxp3x_g/s640/_MG_6439.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
E6000 would probably work better, but I opted for hot glue because that's what I had.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
I attached it with a couple of jump rings, using my jewelry pliers to assist me.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
The feathers I bought already had little plastic hoops at the top, so all I did to attach them to the dreamcatcher was use a couple more jump rings.</div>

I absolutely love this embroidery piece I finished today. It's made with glow-in-the-dark embroidery thread, which is super cool to use. It looks so cool in the dark!</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Lately I've been making these really cool word dreamcatchers. I don't have a tutorial quite yet, but I can definitely make one if any of you are interested. They're a super fun piece to spruce up your living space.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm a huge fan of the movie Napoleon Dynamite. It's probably the best movie of all time. I decided to pay homage to my favorite movie by embroidering a famous line and t-shirt in the movie -- "Vote for Pedro."</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here's the famous t-shirt. I just took the words and copied them and traced them onto some white fabric. Real easy.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgq_7mKoF4eItWlyN1T3pEBWrywTebnR1IiRYTbrZt500DCPGSBLDDUa8XGVy1epBxR6e3cNpvG_3_gaqZ2e_S7xv2FnA9xoPNXdVlGgkPCztDb60ZbKxPmh3MdT5uU4UNVmEcPmyDjoz8/s1600/61pgdoPUpwL._UL1500_.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="630" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgq_7mKoF4eItWlyN1T3pEBWrywTebnR1IiRYTbrZt500DCPGSBLDDUa8XGVy1epBxR6e3cNpvG_3_gaqZ2e_S7xv2FnA9xoPNXdVlGgkPCztDb60ZbKxPmh3MdT5uU4UNVmEcPmyDjoz8/s640/61pgdoPUpwL._UL1500_.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The running stitch is the only stitch I used, so there's no real need for a full-blown tutorial.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0o05OPePzyFey8i0ZaqyBGqtjtyccw8LgZWG_mGCgeaXwwiMnnWoC3d7q-CgT6mHM4xduGObPkjLebmfqqZ8okUhhPLa4tHZl6yMXB-mXJBzNH07eHJoRbSM7diEu04fowbJ2dkNcDfU/s1600/_MG_6219.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0o05OPePzyFey8i0ZaqyBGqtjtyccw8LgZWG_mGCgeaXwwiMnnWoC3d7q-CgT6mHM4xduGObPkjLebmfqqZ8okUhhPLa4tHZl6yMXB-mXJBzNH07eHJoRbSM7diEu04fowbJ2dkNcDfU/s640/_MG_6219.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I love simple embroideries. Movie and TV quotes are my favorite, because it's like mixing pop culture with an "oldish" hobby like embroidery. So fun!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Have a great weekend. I'm graduating college in two days, so yay!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
Instructables.com is having a <a href="http://www.instructables.com/contest/glitterchallenge/" target="_blank">Glitter Challenge</a>! I've been mulling for a few days on what to make and last night, I finally thought of something -- refrigerator magnets made with glittery nail polish! These are super easy to make and you could probably pump out a few dozen in an hour.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
You'll need those clear, flat-backed vase-fillers, a glue gun, glue sticks, glittery nail polish, a solid nail polish of the same color and strong refrigerator magnet backs.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiO9yg0WqVtpGCEzY7IfURMcUl7gqMmxyijI-ElRvUngLOHssEsL3ETNuR_yvQr4McUm2hGWIdDS0u8pdm4RFBn5MGRsG1LRQ85JnmvCY19hKcLy47Oz9sYw3_J_vzjfBhItu8T5Tse6lI/s1600/_MG_6107.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiO9yg0WqVtpGCEzY7IfURMcUl7gqMmxyijI-ElRvUngLOHssEsL3ETNuR_yvQr4McUm2hGWIdDS0u8pdm4RFBn5MGRsG1LRQ85JnmvCY19hKcLy47Oz9sYw3_J_vzjfBhItu8T5Tse6lI/s1600/_MG_6107.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Lie the marble on its front and start painting the flat back with glitter!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJ6EkCh9CdqdjaaNMhyphenhyphenuhkT1OWHoY-akC2MRxAEdJEqpQ7fSaZPIcxg96qAYPyjiio0hAwaEDJ1Y5rBmK39xQTrxxFP027P7mk6PLoFGR6hkxuq5mqhmBxTrsrBTn0SMXkXkXrNFN6MR8/s1600/_MG_6094.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJ6EkCh9CdqdjaaNMhyphenhyphenuhkT1OWHoY-akC2MRxAEdJEqpQ7fSaZPIcxg96qAYPyjiio0hAwaEDJ1Y5rBmK39xQTrxxFP027P7mk6PLoFGR6hkxuq5mqhmBxTrsrBTn0SMXkXkXrNFN6MR8/s1600/_MG_6094.JPG" height="640" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
You'll probably have to do a few coats depending on how coarse the glitter in your nail polish is.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7vH1tMFTpvt37GapfpqvW8zuCaQBwR0CwXTemPz2_VzZUoPt5zb5ZdGpN1aGXlUHvhXw8kPtf9catG9RECTAaTO_8i2V_MVH_MmU7RX3JAY2i592giXSmtONibKiB3QHxJbLIAMYO3oM/s1600/_MG_6104.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7vH1tMFTpvt37GapfpqvW8zuCaQBwR0CwXTemPz2_VzZUoPt5zb5ZdGpN1aGXlUHvhXw8kPtf9catG9RECTAaTO_8i2V_MVH_MmU7RX3JAY2i592giXSmtONibKiB3QHxJbLIAMYO3oM/s1600/_MG_6104.JPG" height="640" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
When the glitter nail polish is completely dry, paint on your solid.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuXZu7tKNCeFJOlLBpcMb3zqEGSdX5txaOZQTXj0pwH_0N_Doxijn8iQHeDLgX_8ZaVTpUreTnTzaXSySkFGIHfvwIisbsncEaFKoQ-t4unJkAJXwkKoYNwE7f3QaVN6btzapw2nNfCzU/s1600/_MG_6097.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuXZu7tKNCeFJOlLBpcMb3zqEGSdX5txaOZQTXj0pwH_0N_Doxijn8iQHeDLgX_8ZaVTpUreTnTzaXSySkFGIHfvwIisbsncEaFKoQ-t4unJkAJXwkKoYNwE7f3QaVN6btzapw2nNfCzU/s1600/_MG_6097.JPG" height="640" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
I have been wanting to do this project for over three years. Tyler bought me some of the supplies that long ago, and I just never got around to it, quite honestly, until last week. I love the way it turned out even if it's not perfect. It was a fairly easy project that I think just about anyone can do. Here's how you can do it too!</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
You'll need a canvas, some paints, a paintbrush and some large letter stickers. (Thanks Tyler for the letter stickers from forever ago!)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOWjpoIqneiVk7c4kt_wqSbQECnIgf0YtOWobgNRYoNSactn6JTgHfjQIpWvitqCp5k1gAx3LeKg6bFqAWhDQQEF2CfDxQu1X_TJLWDcXcVWIQorPRZMUUE4wTodFvnVp_t1wg3e2M4cI/s1600/_MG_6023.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOWjpoIqneiVk7c4kt_wqSbQECnIgf0YtOWobgNRYoNSactn6JTgHfjQIpWvitqCp5k1gAx3LeKg6bFqAWhDQQEF2CfDxQu1X_TJLWDcXcVWIQorPRZMUUE4wTodFvnVp_t1wg3e2M4cI/s1600/_MG_6023.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I got this giant canvas for $9.24! Screaming deal, right? It has a small blemish in it which caused it to be $28 off.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiKUwUm6k4rBn5n-SQ0_bcbgC_dtxbBqmG23K_qQMuUfO27KkBwD_WozX-yqdJWRkh9egii0cK2Riefv4I7mYh5jDZggtKDMd6tfGEc7PLMk81buISMALphcibYA1JkPj6h8tDVGs5Ek3A/s1600/_MG_6025.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiKUwUm6k4rBn5n-SQ0_bcbgC_dtxbBqmG23K_qQMuUfO27KkBwD_WozX-yqdJWRkh9egii0cK2Riefv4I7mYh5jDZggtKDMd6tfGEc7PLMk81buISMALphcibYA1JkPj6h8tDVGs5Ek3A/s1600/_MG_6025.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here's a close up of the paints I bought. I'm sure any acrylic paint will do.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiot5gb3sFbq8t0VewlMaEn5a3UyMruCESA90Ay2FLXc0LrP73vsFr_LnATTUL4SbYUHNhKrJFQNC7dVqb6BUiSDZ6fgXOWxFbFblo38iBaOFapWtI4jxXgBM1A39qAsNnqdpM5IcaiCvs/s1600/_MG_6028.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiot5gb3sFbq8t0VewlMaEn5a3UyMruCESA90Ay2FLXc0LrP73vsFr_LnATTUL4SbYUHNhKrJFQNC7dVqb6BUiSDZ6fgXOWxFbFblo38iBaOFapWtI4jxXgBM1A39qAsNnqdpM5IcaiCvs/s1600/_MG_6028.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Pick out a quote or a song lyric and place your letter stickers on the canvas, moving them around until you're happy with the placement. It took me a really long time to think of just the right quote, but I finally settled on lyrics from "Blue Orchid" by The White Stripes.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiSnmOYm7pg5leb3A32AvmNyyKK2kqo8XnNyG4-UXy26IIXVPyA1UWntsCn7OzlGVz9bXvYWHyaG70G0OaGaWNEte9PgbYI0bl4UZ5e_2tLbr_OnwrqHkG0tbFXgJLTNz-hghiN68Wz9NE/s1600/_MG_6030.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiSnmOYm7pg5leb3A32AvmNyyKK2kqo8XnNyG4-UXy26IIXVPyA1UWntsCn7OzlGVz9bXvYWHyaG70G0OaGaWNEte9PgbYI0bl4UZ5e_2tLbr_OnwrqHkG0tbFXgJLTNz-hghiN68Wz9NE/s1600/_MG_6030.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now for the fun part! Paint all over the canvas, making sure every side gets painted as well.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxeuf3YQhMhNUJA3OIIeF29kRR5ZW9V7veU19vlIpLqtV3GrcoRJUB_N-sH-VLlO4xRLi1P4_galmFu9oFlBUmIimZ7IPzNPe4ThjbE8P-FRZxpoiw1cZI3YLx9qRLbkP8HzJbm5wa3rg/s1600/_MG_6032.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxeuf3YQhMhNUJA3OIIeF29kRR5ZW9V7veU19vlIpLqtV3GrcoRJUB_N-sH-VLlO4xRLi1P4_galmFu9oFlBUmIimZ7IPzNPe4ThjbE8P-FRZxpoiw1cZI3YLx9qRLbkP8HzJbm5wa3rg/s1600/_MG_6032.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Let dry for a little while, take off the stickers and then hang it on your wall! I think it looks great!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
I love working with felt and I love embroidering. I thought it was time to bring the two together with this felt coffee sleeve adorned with random french knots. It's a pretty easy craft and I think it'd make a super fun gift for a teacher or neighbor or something. Let's go ahead and make one, shall we?<br />
<a name='more'></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Supplies you'll need include two pieces of felt, a pen, a pair of scissors, three or four different colors of embroidery thread, a cardboard coffee sleeve and a safety pin.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiqGTNFnIze6wCKLu2LApFBhFq3cTrXYg9IxdDQiy-1A0DBMpFya6weBR5u3viJQVrDkFdzuW1rq0TO6CdEVpy-_7aGcJskv755t-7nUI6DPp_fOJZlFFv_8tWDShvp_EiRIb975zH4c60/s1600/_MG_5962.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiqGTNFnIze6wCKLu2LApFBhFq3cTrXYg9IxdDQiy-1A0DBMpFya6weBR5u3viJQVrDkFdzuW1rq0TO6CdEVpy-_7aGcJskv755t-7nUI6DPp_fOJZlFFv_8tWDShvp_EiRIb975zH4c60/s1600/_MG_5962.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Use the cardboard coffee sleeve as a pattern. Place it on top of the felt and trace around it with the pen.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEippfvoZrkIwQTpJpYL8NWUKicsj19bXzCRQfVdnPN0F7-oSldjSanaNzWz44ghSvoM9YiUHkcwilU3kxcBeZR24TaT4UYMCPH88eatAuMJlzNGIF8v67dYnC5CxN4KBezZu9SgKHE5UbE/s1600/_MG_5963.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEippfvoZrkIwQTpJpYL8NWUKicsj19bXzCRQfVdnPN0F7-oSldjSanaNzWz44ghSvoM9YiUHkcwilU3kxcBeZR24TaT4UYMCPH88eatAuMJlzNGIF8v67dYnC5CxN4KBezZu9SgKHE5UbE/s1600/_MG_5963.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Do this with the other color of felt as well and cut them both out.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxZWU7WB-ptHan37WQMS3FeJ3HvNzJsJcxlmrO7hKgiF4yY_-2E79lpsp1ZwNILL4GE0RDv54G2Bin2_x5Wjll6pG70FDL1RFrsVxv5reFVi7wEo1V42ryi29G6JREXsgljl2hhMFI1cw/s1600/_MG_5964.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxZWU7WB-ptHan37WQMS3FeJ3HvNzJsJcxlmrO7hKgiF4yY_-2E79lpsp1ZwNILL4GE0RDv54G2Bin2_x5Wjll6pG70FDL1RFrsVxv5reFVi7wEo1V42ryi29G6JREXsgljl2hhMFI1cw/s1600/_MG_5964.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now go crazy with french knots!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieHixLuRiPhxjuOwWs3rMVar1hkuZoSZNTQIbf3VTNfah6AbWcjbTGQpbyL_32SyG4l2FudbnDzjJNNQvifDrgbESUH0X7jpCKHTEWTdx9Oz4rSehNuYtL2NwlVSOFuBIbHL9tO4gnVag/s1600/_MG_5965.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieHixLuRiPhxjuOwWs3rMVar1hkuZoSZNTQIbf3VTNfah6AbWcjbTGQpbyL_32SyG4l2FudbnDzjJNNQvifDrgbESUH0X7jpCKHTEWTdx9Oz4rSehNuYtL2NwlVSOFuBIbHL9tO4gnVag/s1600/_MG_5965.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Don't know how to embroider french knots? I'll show you how!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
1. Pull the needle up through where you want your french knot to be.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
2. Wrap the thread around the needle three times, making sure the needle is as close to the felt as you can get it.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
3. Push the needle right next to where you pulled the needle up in step 1.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
4. Pull all the way so it's tight. But don't pull too tight or else the french knot will come out on the other side!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2b-3-uzXDAar-aVjNUYt6dKShNhqheQA1yEn71ZFvTCTvF80PdgRP1HwS72eDu55SBdbzrNlk30o5Bg69w_YdQT4IjmWvxRQiPTXJaAoXIkGMlCwpX29nIlBnFHVg7adT3o9IaF1wsP0/s1600/page.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2b-3-uzXDAar-aVjNUYt6dKShNhqheQA1yEn71ZFvTCTvF80PdgRP1HwS72eDu55SBdbzrNlk30o5Bg69w_YdQT4IjmWvxRQiPTXJaAoXIkGMlCwpX29nIlBnFHVg7adT3o9IaF1wsP0/s1600/page.jpg" height="532" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Make lots of different french knots in lots of different colors.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Match the two felt pieces and wrap them around a coffee cup.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
We've lived in this new place for three months now and I finally decided it was time to put a wreath on the door. I shopped around for some Spring-related wreaths, but I learned something... Wreaths are expensive! Here'show you can make one for basically nothing.</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
You'll need a cardboard box. I grabbed a big mixing bowl out of my kitchen cabinet and traced around it on a Girl Scout cookie box. I cut it out with a box cutter.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipA339dYpQdK5QGOEK1aQ_0w5XKxk2p54RaLjoGW78Z3sJFsWUcFLGopSXRtHZ5XEMw1361XgdQNilfReReb4Mc-jSw2XdxjBmqph71Xvn1TbtMBBG8gVvdgkYDRZq62nI7bTnDNt6LDo/s1600/_MG_5866.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipA339dYpQdK5QGOEK1aQ_0w5XKxk2p54RaLjoGW78Z3sJFsWUcFLGopSXRtHZ5XEMw1361XgdQNilfReReb4Mc-jSw2XdxjBmqph71Xvn1TbtMBBG8gVvdgkYDRZq62nI7bTnDNt6LDo/s1600/_MG_5866.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I turned the bowl over and traced a smaller circle and cut it out. Now it looks like a wreath shape! I ended up making two cardboard wreath forms in order to make the wreath that much sturdier.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzv8q4lArpNag2hlskG2fIJYPCVHbp8sZqylH3yNrbUjcy5PrBrxN68FU1hqu4HYqI_5Bju1-adFU81Xzjiv2X3Wn0k6P16XNAVbQCDtp46muNdCKpcTqnyDHu5WfQDX3nfU9Tb4sHr24/s1600/_MG_5867.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzv8q4lArpNag2hlskG2fIJYPCVHbp8sZqylH3yNrbUjcy5PrBrxN68FU1hqu4HYqI_5Bju1-adFU81Xzjiv2X3Wn0k6P16XNAVbQCDtp46muNdCKpcTqnyDHu5WfQDX3nfU9Tb4sHr24/s1600/_MG_5867.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Wrap the make-shift wreath form with yarn. This will take a little while, but you can do it while watching TV or something.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjR2YO7KsrWHGxtVkJrgKN82tSs8r2sbzoWYg34nrJ_rVA1xjL0nq33i83ToZMopkVI_ceBMiZAbTJbTUfpsVLSHBWjaZkF9kjX0qvDPIrveFrY_GkfEe3SihjBkrzhYsEjtnCahDWG62s/s1600/_MG_5916.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjR2YO7KsrWHGxtVkJrgKN82tSs8r2sbzoWYg34nrJ_rVA1xjL0nq33i83ToZMopkVI_ceBMiZAbTJbTUfpsVLSHBWjaZkF9kjX0qvDPIrveFrY_GkfEe3SihjBkrzhYsEjtnCahDWG62s/s1600/_MG_5916.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now to make the newspaper flowers... Grab four pieces of paper that are equal in size -- 4" tall and 10" wide. Fold them all together in half. Tape the opening closed. Cut the folded side almost all the way up -- leave about 1/4" uncut.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmhmeLtOXrv9WPNsEbaRx3dxidk2uvkP-8h13o8IMk3mo52PUbok3c1WxzLEDlnLe321JED6Uqb7wcQEpm5F3r9NXhal_MFSjnFO4h_RfbPw7Z1IPKY7_ZFYHywkP20W0FN8br6ft_CUU/s1600/page.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmhmeLtOXrv9WPNsEbaRx3dxidk2uvkP-8h13o8IMk3mo52PUbok3c1WxzLEDlnLe321JED6Uqb7wcQEpm5F3r9NXhal_MFSjnFO4h_RfbPw7Z1IPKY7_ZFYHywkP20W0FN8br6ft_CUU/s1600/page.jpg" height="512" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
If you cut all the way across, it should look like this.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhI9aqoFGMX7191Keo9F8LMLIzXbPkzZX2eAlUxGGCbsT8n-RCjl8Q9OEq6-wZ49-xiFQO2YJwMemsbeFCqvrduTaOD0LAG4Bvr1mnPO4BZ5yb2myEfU5sx79LCXFZRJxMXe1TapcNn7o0/s1600/_MG_5873.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhI9aqoFGMX7191Keo9F8LMLIzXbPkzZX2eAlUxGGCbsT8n-RCjl8Q9OEq6-wZ49-xiFQO2YJwMemsbeFCqvrduTaOD0LAG4Bvr1mnPO4BZ5yb2myEfU5sx79LCXFZRJxMXe1TapcNn7o0/s1600/_MG_5873.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Roll it up from end to end and tape it so it stays put.</div>

It's that easy. A few simple steps and you have a wreath for pretty much zero dollars.</div>

I love chai tea. It's so good and cinnamon-y and delicious. I just recently learned frozen chai tea frappucinos exist. They're basically the best frozen drink on the planet. Lucky for me, they're extremely easy to make!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So I will be graduating from college in 31 days, 6 hours, 24 minutes... Not that I'm counting. A ton of my family is coming to town to watch me get my diploma and we're going to have a big party. I've been making some party decorations lately (even though I should probably be doing some homework) because I'm just so darn excited. Here are some cute graduation cap mason jar decorations that take less than two minutes each to make.</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
To make them, you'll need mason jars, black construction paper, invisible tape, embroidery thread, scissors, measuring tape and a pencil.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_WnEohGmWE7aE2abTw92Y58aoMAa4eSQ4-0205BgLmSbB5JKMHeJK8bDusT7Do7I6Za21AFa7ljIEKVht5a_tLvVffhyphenhyphenQJmNq_WiBNljkUIuHDcd3d0CPTliZwlOMxyUfsJ44TFpXcrM/s1600/_MG_5789.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_WnEohGmWE7aE2abTw92Y58aoMAa4eSQ4-0205BgLmSbB5JKMHeJK8bDusT7Do7I6Za21AFa7ljIEKVht5a_tLvVffhyphenhyphenQJmNq_WiBNljkUIuHDcd3d0CPTliZwlOMxyUfsJ44TFpXcrM/s1600/_MG_5789.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
First, you'll need to measure the mouth of your mason jar. I had three different sizes, but the wide-mouth jars were about 11" in circumference.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8DXCYUITXtw2S1UZdy8VyIni1_-B2OJgii4nX2x58mMITwoUNYYZVzEd6mVJe_3vwdUmNUXW6frT5sg399Hq198MiMieJNdYmwDIiRMsmYzAyAwgDuA5XBzSap4ytKvpQ1zglcHVkJFg/s1600/_MG_5792.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8DXCYUITXtw2S1UZdy8VyIni1_-B2OJgii4nX2x58mMITwoUNYYZVzEd6mVJe_3vwdUmNUXW6frT5sg399Hq198MiMieJNdYmwDIiRMsmYzAyAwgDuA5XBzSap4ytKvpQ1zglcHVkJFg/s1600/_MG_5792.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Cut a piece of paper (using your measuring tape and pencil to see how much you need) about 1" longer than the circumference and 1" tall. Tape it around the mason jar, but not <i>to</i> the mason jar.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgc_XtYDQyGrsSyU18xWlhHMfcuP_fipHrr3w5o6UTw9x6ZsgfCHq-wCyUQ46_d7BlUzoy94z9LfbYUvf66qm08enT25yzylkQc7yLc7-VkYOpA_vvIPzYAnA9uphmN2mopVNWITHBByLs/s1600/_MG_5795.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgc_XtYDQyGrsSyU18xWlhHMfcuP_fipHrr3w5o6UTw9x6ZsgfCHq-wCyUQ46_d7BlUzoy94z9LfbYUvf66qm08enT25yzylkQc7yLc7-VkYOpA_vvIPzYAnA9uphmN2mopVNWITHBByLs/s1600/_MG_5795.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Cut a square of black construction paper big enough to look like a graduation cap. For my mason jars, 5 1/2" was good.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzZ80KSWW8CicG28I5XDKDnwd2YkA0pihSru3PMdEUT-E-D3i6F-kNb_1Q6FiYZZMbNwyhi0SOzo8YOys-5raX3FNaMq8z-Qh-HkOT7dnc3XgI8GOIJvOs-PVlwNmhko_X7pI-7cGU7DA/s1600/_MG_5796.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzZ80KSWW8CicG28I5XDKDnwd2YkA0pihSru3PMdEUT-E-D3i6F-kNb_1Q6FiYZZMbNwyhi0SOzo8YOys-5raX3FNaMq8z-Qh-HkOT7dnc3XgI8GOIJvOs-PVlwNmhko_X7pI-7cGU7DA/s1600/_MG_5796.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Take the circle off the mason jar and tape it to the square.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlXTYFnFN30jkIm5I0PIjjoqVymvjMGoyW3jC56_yNlrOG0XZIdlbptHfAE5zFRD_mrFYSd8Xa-rSyCmLYkJnfP8kix2hFRbHtKCwXyxH5jwOSH3WE9vKjLm02M7zLYFHMOC6cDmKan6M/s1600/_MG_5797.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlXTYFnFN30jkIm5I0PIjjoqVymvjMGoyW3jC56_yNlrOG0XZIdlbptHfAE5zFRD_mrFYSd8Xa-rSyCmLYkJnfP8kix2hFRbHtKCwXyxH5jwOSH3WE9vKjLm02M7zLYFHMOC6cDmKan6M/s1600/_MG_5797.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now we're going to make a tassel and it's going to take two seconds. Okay, maybe a little longer. Get a strand of embroidery floss that's still wrapped up like when you bought it. It costs <i>maybe at the most</i> 30 cents for embroidery thread, so you'll be spending 15 cents on each tassel. Tie a string through the loop on one end of the embroidery thread. Then tie a string around .25" below the top of the thread, knot it, wrap it, and knot it again. Cut the excess off.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg49MISz0xNodfqFlgpmVEy7KUPcgrz3IFfBJf7C1sBWcMEV_AoCmYd5NujO16j8n-fB17T9K07-CA9EGrfS0xH-ODfHstrl4ziezN-WiuNE6E178a6IE6B_7ss4NvH7-WVrztpVLAzasI/s1600/page.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg49MISz0xNodfqFlgpmVEy7KUPcgrz3IFfBJf7C1sBWcMEV_AoCmYd5NujO16j8n-fB17T9K07-CA9EGrfS0xH-ODfHstrl4ziezN-WiuNE6E178a6IE6B_7ss4NvH7-WVrztpVLAzasI/s1600/page.jpg" height="532" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now cut the embroidery floss in half. You can make another tassel from the other side.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfD_f0orfYfALgndX0c_9Rq_hZKFC30H5_1BGsS0sxnisaHYiSmHEwGZahjWvTeh2lsa1emFfkg7BACNApBTB72nB7c49NmAYkXl3iOPeu2GJ4D6dagBUMz_tYZUY-UG1yuce37nz7kvM/s1600/_MG_5804.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfD_f0orfYfALgndX0c_9Rq_hZKFC30H5_1BGsS0sxnisaHYiSmHEwGZahjWvTeh2lsa1emFfkg7BACNApBTB72nB7c49NmAYkXl3iOPeu2GJ4D6dagBUMz_tYZUY-UG1yuce37nz7kvM/s1600/_MG_5804.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Tape your tassel to the top of your cap.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdufIFG47lUo-PVeSHTllI6OKGlmyGlI0IQN5FuY5YOkX3RtdSsAShUjqmZY3Q7ifAAFFM3k7d-0mKyr4i2tTXLHxXRjme_bodCcrjExXim3tAYBtkoQoTMlcXlN-8qN3jbmWkFZPuULk/s1600/_MG_5806.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdufIFG47lUo-PVeSHTllI6OKGlmyGlI0IQN5FuY5YOkX3RtdSsAShUjqmZY3Q7ifAAFFM3k7d-0mKyr4i2tTXLHxXRjme_bodCcrjExXim3tAYBtkoQoTMlcXlN-8qN3jbmWkFZPuULk/s1600/_MG_5806.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now cut a circle out of the black construction paper. It doesn't have to be perfect.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXCbtmBxRlrOkTjbX7r9XV9iizrFrL31PTpJFq9a76ey6cyLTrqzz-YYL45byfzm8Ngds6upzOKo6pVPBMARr29itL8_WVeR1G3zuSBsqRdyCJ9fQwNkFOd2PMeNoymEX1jg8s7t872PE/s1600/_MG_5805.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXCbtmBxRlrOkTjbX7r9XV9iizrFrL31PTpJFq9a76ey6cyLTrqzz-YYL45byfzm8Ngds6upzOKo6pVPBMARr29itL8_WVeR1G3zuSBsqRdyCJ9fQwNkFOd2PMeNoymEX1jg8s7t872PE/s1600/_MG_5805.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And tape it on top of the cap, hiding the tassel.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbz9I2skgFT1uBytUKnKAFGrvJUFjj2qCrwcBnLDBQZQ4hkeqF8LxkWVV53P3EFgLelehaqNadumy8EmgR7psfm1NFBjv6Fdvpy5YmI4k5fKItw0QwuduxdSVWctH1cafZUmfcLsX_9Oc/s1600/_MG_5807.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbz9I2skgFT1uBytUKnKAFGrvJUFjj2qCrwcBnLDBQZQ4hkeqF8LxkWVV53P3EFgLelehaqNadumy8EmgR7psfm1NFBjv6Fdvpy5YmI4k5fKItw0QwuduxdSVWctH1cafZUmfcLsX_9Oc/s1600/_MG_5807.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now set it on your mason jar!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuus7NNpQ4SxyCUt05RhiouvZo81N6_6fao6r6gDzH6Qh7mCHxaKqLDjVoUEVBlu9joq05SX_SgpeYlMNRGAnhJkNkkNENwg5vPe4ICQ1vuVP3-7Z5gjhyphenhyphenQZ_H96RLXTkVuAxEjkq-BBA/s1600/_MG_5827.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuus7NNpQ4SxyCUt05RhiouvZo81N6_6fao6r6gDzH6Qh7mCHxaKqLDjVoUEVBlu9joq05SX_SgpeYlMNRGAnhJkNkkNENwg5vPe4ICQ1vuVP3-7Z5gjhyphenhyphenQZ_H96RLXTkVuAxEjkq-BBA/s1600/_MG_5827.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I like that the caps are removable, so you can fill them with stuff. I think I'll eventually buy little marbles or something, but for fun I placed coffee beans, jelly beans and paper clips into three of them and placed an LED candle on top. I think it looks pretty cute!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgs_wbJcyinetVfSuBAuLln42CloR-pqJ2_P-tY1eUkzeV_BIgxv5hbWl2-epjvpZkYrIdMrlEnpkfuX7sPOtUfmvdOqRQ6VVmdq9Lk1uZO4iTJ7lUeDsTjpTnZHoMHyDVlVCn1zgBWAxA/s1600/anigif.gif" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgs_wbJcyinetVfSuBAuLln42CloR-pqJ2_P-tY1eUkzeV_BIgxv5hbWl2-epjvpZkYrIdMrlEnpkfuX7sPOtUfmvdOqRQ6VVmdq9Lk1uZO4iTJ7lUeDsTjpTnZHoMHyDVlVCn1zgBWAxA/s1600/anigif.gif" height="424" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I loved making these because it was easy, fast and cute. I hope you all have a great week!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihs1Fo6edJ9X8I7hyphenhyphenf-ObgOA8uJHgNFjJL6nQC1XgdQreMbq6NgDOEB8G1CUMLJ6kqPYaULtkodnDo8oAlBp9UD3yEUIEFj7m47FlOimlA3VLNZQ0Nwdv4ihCkqynHrQdM8CTwH2GkGmc/s1600/_MG_5776.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihs1Fo6edJ9X8I7hyphenhyphenf-ObgOA8uJHgNFjJL6nQC1XgdQreMbq6NgDOEB8G1CUMLJ6kqPYaULtkodnDo8oAlBp9UD3yEUIEFj7m47FlOimlA3VLNZQ0Nwdv4ihCkqynHrQdM8CTwH2GkGmc/s1600/_MG_5776.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have a 15-year-old dog who lives back in Artesia with my mom and he's a sweetheart. My mom said he needed a blanket for her couch so she'd be able to wash it instead of getting her couch dirty. He also likes to try and dig into the couch and get nowhere, so hopefully this blanket will stop that.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Before we start, here's a picture of Miles and his friend Roxy. They are adorable.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9FDt57g7Mv1k0PetjmkU3lMs3ypqmWFLluZ_EiyAIDErBNZU_oE_PZM0t2AqnLjMc3yHE0YHOcMvu52qQGM_O3kN44nJRdult4WJmCqpISZG-Sn1Lx1jY8plba1z7g1lXhldr-6WvS1Q/s1600/unnamed.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9FDt57g7Mv1k0PetjmkU3lMs3ypqmWFLluZ_EiyAIDErBNZU_oE_PZM0t2AqnLjMc3yHE0YHOcMvu52qQGM_O3kN44nJRdult4WJmCqpISZG-Sn1Lx1jY8plba1z7g1lXhldr-6WvS1Q/s1600/unnamed.jpg" height="360" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Okay, let's get started. You'll need two different patterned fabrics that are the same size. I got 1 1/4 yards for both of my adorable dog fabrics. Cut off your selvage and put them wrong-sides-together.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEy7KT0DzOraSCWzJt9l8d_hGE_i3E2zgOfVYrqw24CIdLRm6JGGRrVJrbl3FOyJ9VtaKPsYW0kmw1_Qp66JK-wy4dlgjMZzXmOxr7iIv46GqGbL3jILIaGKdg6GT2_qLBNzJjA1FEqww/s1600/_MG_5763.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEy7KT0DzOraSCWzJt9l8d_hGE_i3E2zgOfVYrqw24CIdLRm6JGGRrVJrbl3FOyJ9VtaKPsYW0kmw1_Qp66JK-wy4dlgjMZzXmOxr7iIv46GqGbL3jILIaGKdg6GT2_qLBNzJjA1FEqww/s1600/_MG_5763.JPG" height="428" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Cut a 2" square from all four corners, then cut 2" strips all the way around.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiykQGawM_UZllfSp43WOG3DX10mKKrhfsmnYTelhbTuPAFosKlc6ZiJv8eFQ35DJDqfrto7HXpofzbkJCB8B6Sa_EWM10Ibm3ncWaMu6Xnuh1kojCcAIlaQZpmRXpxfXag2gFwaYjYW0/s1600/_MG_5764.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiykQGawM_UZllfSp43WOG3DX10mKKrhfsmnYTelhbTuPAFosKlc6ZiJv8eFQ35DJDqfrto7HXpofzbkJCB8B6Sa_EWM10Ibm3ncWaMu6Xnuh1kojCcAIlaQZpmRXpxfXag2gFwaYjYW0/s1600/_MG_5764.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here's what it should look like after you've cut all the strips.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEic1niJGy2W-uvzUBaKstlvbc6q1iuOK5w57vrh6w6aLs37cCcInRDn97fecgeFs3FNuQMd6qIQwB1Qi4mv_zJ3XoBH5z6F64pVwwvYjdK9IbZdS-KEuJtsmE3tG77bgGh5M98PiaomBbk/s1600/_MG_5765.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEic1niJGy2W-uvzUBaKstlvbc6q1iuOK5w57vrh6w6aLs37cCcInRDn97fecgeFs3FNuQMd6qIQwB1Qi4mv_zJ3XoBH5z6F64pVwwvYjdK9IbZdS-KEuJtsmE3tG77bgGh5M98PiaomBbk/s1600/_MG_5765.JPG" height="406" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now tie all of those strips together!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiO4bAvCqFTZ4PBUdxJHBOAuNwSr2txr690yhNWPIFfeazwmyymJ-VOcx3iToaY3XGWiwJXPcpeFGfEJrhN-qFprEirRCwNe5JTjOCn8JL4BlWLhv5dn2ltl10zxCEjvnnBYY-TwXUo8tM/s1600/_MG_5769.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiO4bAvCqFTZ4PBUdxJHBOAuNwSr2txr690yhNWPIFfeazwmyymJ-VOcx3iToaY3XGWiwJXPcpeFGfEJrhN-qFprEirRCwNe5JTjOCn8JL4BlWLhv5dn2ltl10zxCEjvnnBYY-TwXUo8tM/s1600/_MG_5769.JPG" height="424" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

It's a pretty easy project that I did while talking on the phone. It probably took me about 30 minutes total. Have fun and Happy Easter!</div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwC1ttA2glhCw1mm3Mv7fsmzCmqxQGPO6yXq_dshndsFGp1pkBG0ls5MCrC8I-ket3qKeRdj_7JNJ6fD_US0qOQqg74jqtIttWvNll5WqCMzO7IGi5ANm6iMlkQ8YdWtLTfIC4fBPIaFU/s1600/page.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwC1ttA2glhCw1mm3Mv7fsmzCmqxQGPO6yXq_dshndsFGp1pkBG0ls5MCrC8I-ket3qKeRdj_7JNJ6fD_US0qOQqg74jqtIttWvNll5WqCMzO7IGi5ANm6iMlkQ8YdWtLTfIC4fBPIaFU/s1600/page.jpg" height="640" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
If you're like me, then a lot of your friends are starting to having babies now. And I mean a lot. Pretty much all of them. If you're like me even more, you don't have a lot of money for all of the baby shower presents you're going to have to get. Here's a really simple and inexpensive way to make a baby shower present that everyone will love. </div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
First, you need to get some fabric. A yard will do for a receiving blanket. This is actually slightly smaller than a yard, because it was in the remnant bin at the craft store. However big your piece of fabric is, cut it in half. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrFOsSg17w53OYoD7R0IeAOSWDt3iQHZ-LnQTEAdEd9tUVpNxeFM8GPt8s2vzYd9Moi5pxZYsP7UXAT08njeKbuMRGmCYP6hQrNUWQXTgG6zWhig5RueTG2XOZWHSc_vDeAQ5uUqv5iSQ/s1600/_MG_5735.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrFOsSg17w53OYoD7R0IeAOSWDt3iQHZ-LnQTEAdEd9tUVpNxeFM8GPt8s2vzYd9Moi5pxZYsP7UXAT08njeKbuMRGmCYP6hQrNUWQXTgG6zWhig5RueTG2XOZWHSc_vDeAQ5uUqv5iSQ/s1600/_MG_5735.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Place right sides together and pin.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTJmXYlRWDtsQgqqG6u2js4A1QlrpKD4ABUGdUXy_1FUzi-wExFdEo8gfhPY0T69ZQO1k7nNyR3FA_VXL8ybceZQJsdNy3p0F6zA_IXVOA5hZ5NzS7jUc7BOoEQaAcRh0Gz-1JmwS753A/s1600/_MG_5736.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTJmXYlRWDtsQgqqG6u2js4A1QlrpKD4ABUGdUXy_1FUzi-wExFdEo8gfhPY0T69ZQO1k7nNyR3FA_VXL8ybceZQJsdNy3p0F6zA_IXVOA5hZ5NzS7jUc7BOoEQaAcRh0Gz-1JmwS753A/s1600/_MG_5736.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now sew almost all the way around. As you can see, this is kind of like making a pillow except we're not going to stuff it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCUCC2C_kWAB60_thsS2_a_3evAjWGhIMKUUpmrh4VD711vxc9jqzRs-2xjaGjj707YP-BPPTxvg9S-CBELh4uIyVLDjvdB5YQvaqI-gJMGp6wH2n57oWP4Tn5xB3SvYnMQSgIA83Veq4/s1600/_MG_5738.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCUCC2C_kWAB60_thsS2_a_3evAjWGhIMKUUpmrh4VD711vxc9jqzRs-2xjaGjj707YP-BPPTxvg9S-CBELh4uIyVLDjvdB5YQvaqI-gJMGp6wH2n57oWP4Tn5xB3SvYnMQSgIA83Veq4/s1600/_MG_5738.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Don't actually sew <i>all</i> the way around. Leave a gap big enough for you to turn it inside out.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmm9Zxw34V6aW1De6S565TedA_esiHcXUP6-APF-TQZhv2AygMtRQEwgDW31TXiNJ1IrSnYiS05tu8bS1qWHMfYWKRCLEHx1CoqcBO2Y730nbEZajEM6lQbkK66s1WumAQhoBHbjBPBS8/s1600/_MG_5739.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmm9Zxw34V6aW1De6S565TedA_esiHcXUP6-APF-TQZhv2AygMtRQEwgDW31TXiNJ1IrSnYiS05tu8bS1qWHMfYWKRCLEHx1CoqcBO2Y730nbEZajEM6lQbkK66s1WumAQhoBHbjBPBS8/s1600/_MG_5739.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Clip those corners!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJcBR1AuVGU2zMg6dBytYeQXomU8DiYgzeHo2085-P-6Jjn36k_rFrLtQHZsRvrFxSM74I6Nv2kuzqkURKB-W3yGhZ9u5iNXIAMDYBRYrxuGq8YNS5Ld1bPx3j7nTFVLunIX5Grgt_Chk/s1600/_MG_5741.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJcBR1AuVGU2zMg6dBytYeQXomU8DiYgzeHo2085-P-6Jjn36k_rFrLtQHZsRvrFxSM74I6Nv2kuzqkURKB-W3yGhZ9u5iNXIAMDYBRYrxuGq8YNS5Ld1bPx3j7nTFVLunIX5Grgt_Chk/s1600/_MG_5741.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now turn it inside out. Completely. Pin 1" away from the seam.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSeIVnLcaw_I0eJ9TR4jeBL8Wn6mfZ9vYtznixKgkhGStYQSbKCSTrrHsy0jzC81xr0__y-GlsH_R1tNzptE3z4UspmzIQbb1tKJjr0fDzE1_qWB32-9htCEtU3LCjzwgoGxjPRltZVXU/s1600/_MG_5742.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSeIVnLcaw_I0eJ9TR4jeBL8Wn6mfZ9vYtznixKgkhGStYQSbKCSTrrHsy0jzC81xr0__y-GlsH_R1tNzptE3z4UspmzIQbb1tKJjr0fDzE1_qWB32-9htCEtU3LCjzwgoGxjPRltZVXU/s1600/_MG_5742.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Top stitch ~1" from the seam, removing your pins as you sew.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzJhrh2vkON8tDBKEniYl3_OAm-dqWVCTrVgbjFWhB85iPNYBuCel71eo1r19SvfcvKQHOfbges3eDYJpzakyFnbGx6ojyqB0zogQEcq8bSZcm5EczQnBtFyTWjA95CIeCgt_VewSMYOA/s1600/_MG_5744.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzJhrh2vkON8tDBKEniYl3_OAm-dqWVCTrVgbjFWhB85iPNYBuCel71eo1r19SvfcvKQHOfbges3eDYJpzakyFnbGx6ojyqB0zogQEcq8bSZcm5EczQnBtFyTWjA95CIeCgt_VewSMYOA/s1600/_MG_5744.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And that's it! Easy peasy. The fabric cost me $2 and the thread was probably around $.50. So under $3 for a cute baby blanket? Score!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
Have a great week!</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Geez, that's probably the longest blog title I've ever written. Oh well, once you get one of these cupcakes into your mouth, you won't care how long it takes to say "chocolate cheesecake cupcakes with marshmallow flowers" ever again. My mom came to town this weekend and we had a ton of fun. We always do. These cupcakes were only one of the highlights from this weekend!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Okay, so in order to make these cupcakes, you'll need some ingredients.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
A cake mix, three eggs, 1/3 cup oil, 1/3 cup water, half block of cream cheese, mini chocolate chips, chocolate frosting and jumbo marshmallows.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBNfjxjNeQ1ZB1xQ7NyUb5bvW4Th48fl1lGgEDRE5Cfmjp8TnQwuT6Fo2FsEA6ygxh_kZOejl71scf0iWuepljTNZuGoOFz6pCuEHpIzi-Vz9C83iUMug9mOmQedoT9E2JUq-z-gJHr4I/s1600/_MG_5450.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBNfjxjNeQ1ZB1xQ7NyUb5bvW4Th48fl1lGgEDRE5Cfmjp8TnQwuT6Fo2FsEA6ygxh_kZOejl71scf0iWuepljTNZuGoOFz6pCuEHpIzi-Vz9C83iUMug9mOmQedoT9E2JUq-z-gJHr4I/s1600/_MG_5450.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Mix the cake mix, eggs, oil and water in a bowl. No lumps!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjf078B9v66Crt-84zF-dan5PWImoak8Ggkr3RiwadXzjBgxARlz_7roEuJOPwjnGb7jXsUjVD9C8jENmwwWgz_lRG8Y9y4IsB8AVOWUM2EpBD0Dl6D0SQOu3fbmDMwiKB-uOvC1Rx4Suk/s1600/_MG_5451.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjf078B9v66Crt-84zF-dan5PWImoak8Ggkr3RiwadXzjBgxARlz_7roEuJOPwjnGb7jXsUjVD9C8jENmwwWgz_lRG8Y9y4IsB8AVOWUM2EpBD0Dl6D0SQOu3fbmDMwiKB-uOvC1Rx4Suk/s1600/_MG_5451.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Place your cupcake liners in your cupcake pan and put a spoonful of cake batter into each one. Put a dab of cream cheese on top.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguHmnQICsp8ZJ8l_X1J-FLNApPFxVhIfXllMd7OREzHGd_8q9PJEuq17xC77d7aDYOajAJjPEpuidgbEhA70iLAMb1ddQ9eMobWuVcT2ls_9PoA_Imz-4NoCZqLUU0vf_HAQJvDcllQFE/s1600/_MG_5453.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguHmnQICsp8ZJ8l_X1J-FLNApPFxVhIfXllMd7OREzHGd_8q9PJEuq17xC77d7aDYOajAJjPEpuidgbEhA70iLAMb1ddQ9eMobWuVcT2ls_9PoA_Imz-4NoCZqLUU0vf_HAQJvDcllQFE/s1600/_MG_5453.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now place a small handful of mini chocolate chips on top of the cream cheese. Then spoon another bit of cake batter on top of that, like in the top left cupcake liner.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgp4gmOkYTZCpx2EiHFKbkczwQmd9mIBE-cp9LWE4ldFaIoNQ7zSKnu46tCMlAukf4ALZ4EcoUdZtJlcvZCD6VUsmwq03eNoX4Sj3SrNsTtl_WZ39H1EhJ1FM1pueO3d7QqcrdaeGAWiPY/s1600/_MG_5455.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgp4gmOkYTZCpx2EiHFKbkczwQmd9mIBE-cp9LWE4ldFaIoNQ7zSKnu46tCMlAukf4ALZ4EcoUdZtJlcvZCD6VUsmwq03eNoX4Sj3SrNsTtl_WZ39H1EhJ1FM1pueO3d7QqcrdaeGAWiPY/s1600/_MG_5455.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Bake according to the back of the cake mix box. Let cool!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
Frost with frosting of choice. We chose something chocolatey and fudgey.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
If you wish, you can stop right here and still have delicious cupcakes. But we, of course, did not.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiS4HxF7BBZY9glsoXYo4Ew5jKv4obknVrVxBJPetrxod1-uAjGeu4ywZFt-J9eciLB87S7KMxCfctPJzT0NltO34tQRBgpAdta_aAgwFi8039dzGKAJ33_n_YoCI3B2fRiY97zt1VpN2c/s1600/_MG_5463.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiS4HxF7BBZY9glsoXYo4Ew5jKv4obknVrVxBJPetrxod1-uAjGeu4ywZFt-J9eciLB87S7KMxCfctPJzT0NltO34tQRBgpAdta_aAgwFi8039dzGKAJ33_n_YoCI3B2fRiY97zt1VpN2c/s1600/_MG_5463.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now grab a jumbo marshmallow. Cut four slits (with scissors) but not all the way down. Fan your five slits until the far left one is touching the far right one. Make it look like a flower. Now dip in some sprinkles! The marshmallow will be sticky, so the sprinkles will have no problem sticking.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">As you may know, I've made soft, <a href="http://liz-makes.blogspot.com/2013/01/liz-makes-buttery-mall-pretzels.html">mall pretzels</a> before, but today I decided to do it a tad differently. Instead of making pretzels in the shape of the classic pretzel twist, I made pretzel <i>bites</i>! It was a whole lot easier and I think they baked more thoroughly too. Here's how I did it:</span><br />
<a name='more'></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div align="center" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="background-color: white;"><br /></span>
<span style="background-color: white;">
First, you're going to dissolve your yeast and 1 tsp of sugar into a small bowl
with the warm water. Let sit for about ten or so minutes, until it's frothy.
Now add the flour and butter. Mix with a spoon or with a mixer.
Knead until the dough is smooth and pulls away from the side of the bowl on a
floured surface, approximately 4 to 5 minutes. Place the dough into a
slightly-oiled bowl.* Cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap and set it in a
warm place for approximately 50 to 55 minutes or until the dough has doubled in
size. </span><o:p></o:p></span></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Today I made this cute little felt magnet. It's an egg! I saw one similar to it on Pinterest, but the link was broken. I thought I'd try my hand at it and share the tutorial with you. Let's get started!<br />
<a name='more'></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEisOngJUjBSNezOXOy83J2Zv_JtYZzvknX675Vcf-_GFTWzUY4tDcbHO_asA52fek3tlFZx2zuMPFWB6h5YADGED331PKXh4ReeRx5DnpLz9Z9UCFNyTFdAHutoMJO6qfXbABf929QO_fkU/s1600/egg+pattern.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEisOngJUjBSNezOXOy83J2Zv_JtYZzvknX675Vcf-_GFTWzUY4tDcbHO_asA52fek3tlFZx2zuMPFWB6h5YADGED331PKXh4ReeRx5DnpLz9Z9UCFNyTFdAHutoMJO6qfXbABf929QO_fkU/s640/egg+pattern.jpg" height="598" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I drew a simple egg on a sheet of paper as a rough pattern. Go ahead and use mine if you want. You'll also need a sheet of yellow felt, a sheet of white felt, black thread, white thread, a tiny bit of polyfil stuffing, a needle, a magnet and a loaded hot glue gun. Cut out the shapes from the pattern.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdBWxGv8GfZo8cjvfiUBbwkeUeTLVH5-3yu-qTVHK35kDGYv4RICfoAymUNvAGTwQjtFzDFFWiNVmnb6RVmhgB73UbB6t9de3TmWr4Lj2jxHF4kWg56O3SLWKz3KH4SKLWrAWhw9w4uhlG/s1600/_MG_8036.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdBWxGv8GfZo8cjvfiUBbwkeUeTLVH5-3yu-qTVHK35kDGYv4RICfoAymUNvAGTwQjtFzDFFWiNVmnb6RVmhgB73UbB6t9de3TmWr4Lj2jxHF4kWg56O3SLWKz3KH4SKLWrAWhw9w4uhlG/s640/_MG_8036.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Pin the paper patterns to the felt. Make sure to cut out one of the egg yolk circle (in yellow) and two of the egg white pieces (in white). </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMe9l2A1-rBXxl3RjGSSTbE1y4oAKJSZtttUFY6n39Vm7Gi-mbavrClHt8rkhlWfdwU7LAukWjqyVhM8E-q3ArWu3Zf-mfHVxLQtplIlKBTDFmrYYv07H2ppdlOR6EbUqJp7wOCLh_wfjL/s1600/_MG_8037.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMe9l2A1-rBXxl3RjGSSTbE1y4oAKJSZtttUFY6n39Vm7Gi-mbavrClHt8rkhlWfdwU7LAukWjqyVhM8E-q3ArWu3Zf-mfHVxLQtplIlKBTDFmrYYv07H2ppdlOR6EbUqJp7wOCLh_wfjL/s640/_MG_8037.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Using really small stitches, sew a face on the egg yolk. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDQ6c2NYf2nzHr95LcrUaiyRer6KW2eDjU2Ovr6vOk3okcJIMaoz4pyNeK0t8dN3GJZEvk-pMRCg6sEk4N8blTSzk5FKPxupGBnZD70ud4Nh-5PWNe4YDyntVBJ41jKjJAjUTRSLyrrcXg/s1600/page1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDQ6c2NYf2nzHr95LcrUaiyRer6KW2eDjU2Ovr6vOk3okcJIMaoz4pyNeK0t8dN3GJZEvk-pMRCg6sEk4N8blTSzk5FKPxupGBnZD70ud4Nh-5PWNe4YDyntVBJ41jKjJAjUTRSLyrrcXg/s640/page1.jpg" height="320" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now sew the yolk to one of the egg white pieces, but not all the way. Once you're 3/4 of the way finished, stuff the egg yolk with a little bit of polyfil. Finish sewing the egg yolk to the egg white.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLVS2IvvGBll2zfO7AwYOhwVs_-fCqAtDzonCnDwSPTRTcTKA2qC0mr8tvyn72GPTBpmtxnsVdp9KQ6ifyD26KbsDRetqwAK8evFyLVPCtCSrJ2XkPYQGaiqdbvAMCaCZ23Nuy2-YI2LR_/s1600/_MG_8042.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLVS2IvvGBll2zfO7AwYOhwVs_-fCqAtDzonCnDwSPTRTcTKA2qC0mr8tvyn72GPTBpmtxnsVdp9KQ6ifyD26KbsDRetqwAK8evFyLVPCtCSrJ2XkPYQGaiqdbvAMCaCZ23Nuy2-YI2LR_/s640/_MG_8042.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now sew the egg white piece that has the egg yolk piece sewn on to the other egg white piece. I used plain-Jane stitches for all of my sewing.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDahuBt6p1mJyABcaf086Vm5TRHkfpDVQ09XbGJo4n4iwdvI2AYU9ey0kGedZB5UHwC99qmx-euEB0a6aoLdoCqWxRO87AtOkssYjPnLx5GMyEQvMTYBSp7pcv0Ey_KIAbBNo9HxRRFouk/s1600/_MG_8044.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDahuBt6p1mJyABcaf086Vm5TRHkfpDVQ09XbGJo4n4iwdvI2AYU9ey0kGedZB5UHwC99qmx-euEB0a6aoLdoCqWxRO87AtOkssYjPnLx5GMyEQvMTYBSp7pcv0Ey_KIAbBNo9HxRRFouk/s640/_MG_8044.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Grab a small magnet (I used a freebie one I got from the county fair last year) and glue it on using your hot glue gun. Easy peasy. You're done! Stick it on your fridge!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
Cute, eh? Have a great weekend.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
So I know it's a little late to be making Valentine's Day decorations, but I couldn't resist. I found this tutorial on <a href="http://howaboutorange.blogspot.nl/2013/01/wall-of-paper-hearts.html" target="_blank">How About Orange</a> on how to make these hearts to stick on the wall. It's super easy. </div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
All you have to do is print out this <a href="http://jessicajonesdesign.com/downloads/hearts.pdf" target="_blank">PDF with the pattern</a> for the hearts on it. Cut them out.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIDk-YxuFq6gwL8ibj57hyrt3ewTQKfmhG4fvCd-_lSAT7CAHAdDuuC15MdQBAL7Y8KLZQhaY4Jl-SvgXD-MtjBgxFsgUhjam4hjyevJwvQJyfdh8_PCpIXj88GAW9ZsiXpF0_qTYfFGE/s1600/_MG_5436.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIDk-YxuFq6gwL8ibj57hyrt3ewTQKfmhG4fvCd-_lSAT7CAHAdDuuC15MdQBAL7Y8KLZQhaY4Jl-SvgXD-MtjBgxFsgUhjam4hjyevJwvQJyfdh8_PCpIXj88GAW9ZsiXpF0_qTYfFGE/s1600/_MG_5436.JPG" height="640" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Slightly fold inside of the heart like in the picture.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhINlOyduneYvKTyjKgsGBL5aSSS5Y3714atlfhu0tzDupD2biXYCEumLqnR7xyAj08fW6aqFRBICdRAzAvizvLuBSrBL31UNfg1t2Qxc4OWErd0dRMzKRfnAr9Nkx_mkbq2PHwBp-4qwA/s1600/_MG_5440.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhINlOyduneYvKTyjKgsGBL5aSSS5Y3714atlfhu0tzDupD2biXYCEumLqnR7xyAj08fW6aqFRBICdRAzAvizvLuBSrBL31UNfg1t2Qxc4OWErd0dRMzKRfnAr9Nkx_mkbq2PHwBp-4qwA/s1600/_MG_5440.JPG" height="640" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Pinch where you folded to make the heart 3D.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivLjmINuRWTsAb3DU2a1d1I3AuG5WKc-CopQlpcX-5Ed-SQZihBjlAf4XZmsSsVG8VSK1T5WrTOwMwfej07Hoo65XwQFnXYimnxl9EEhmt5NZOW5fZEcQtfiOXrNiJCN43n_4uaut3nsU/s1600/_MG_5441.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivLjmINuRWTsAb3DU2a1d1I3AuG5WKc-CopQlpcX-5Ed-SQZihBjlAf4XZmsSsVG8VSK1T5WrTOwMwfej07Hoo65XwQFnXYimnxl9EEhmt5NZOW5fZEcQtfiOXrNiJCN43n_4uaut3nsU/s1600/_MG_5441.JPG" height="640" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Roll a piece of tape and stick it to the heart and then stick the heart to the wall.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4oLNde-frb-EzyDUCNOUvTZHsWfZWcxgHQA4B_xJ9GsL7zjqNPcDqSw25faoZRCHB7J9nmXWkEQLH47SGM1VatGs2D5IOiSVDoymfLRrsAeKi65B63OP2IB4myX7BfnA1C9_0Ru7Cvc4/s1600/_MG_5446.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4oLNde-frb-EzyDUCNOUvTZHsWfZWcxgHQA4B_xJ9GsL7zjqNPcDqSw25faoZRCHB7J9nmXWkEQLH47SGM1VatGs2D5IOiSVDoymfLRrsAeKi65B63OP2IB4myX7BfnA1C9_0Ru7Cvc4/s1600/_MG_5446.JPG" height="640" width="640" /></a></div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0AUfMPTkde_BP79eQXi7JKbS1oq3L7cx9oHIw24AS28HlajdsdZUs1Dj3XvqXgW_ekPzj3tIAwRpc0V8x9GuFQVbYWpfjZCV2nVAXOu9VI7ywckoLlzM5MfML4LR6TChqIeezsPjPeGU/s1600/page.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0AUfMPTkde_BP79eQXi7JKbS1oq3L7cx9oHIw24AS28HlajdsdZUs1Dj3XvqXgW_ekPzj3tIAwRpc0V8x9GuFQVbYWpfjZCV2nVAXOu9VI7ywckoLlzM5MfML4LR6TChqIeezsPjPeGU/s1600/page.jpg" height="532" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My mom gave me this Styrofoam head awhile back so when I crochet hats or headbands, I'd have something to put them on when I take pictures. It's gotten a few punctures and scratches here and there, like Styrofoam happens to get after awhile, so I decided it was time to give it a make-over.</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used newspaper to cover it, but you could use comic book strips, gift wrapping paper, tissue paper, etc. Besides the paper, you'll need a Styrofoam head, glue and some scissors. You could use decopauge glue, but I stuck with good ol' Elmer's and it worked fine.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtjdFXgqGxm8WJiNnXh07x2S_i-kdXN0TVGa1fXaVUq4KoVpG-BL6D0FW9snKZZgk8eI4UHPeamtjhyphenhyphenTpHwyRtn81pXkFcvjZQpAIwQtLcIaj2BU2anNC-wDUp9IVY54_now8M0oOikBU/s1600/_MG_5313.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtjdFXgqGxm8WJiNnXh07x2S_i-kdXN0TVGa1fXaVUq4KoVpG-BL6D0FW9snKZZgk8eI4UHPeamtjhyphenhyphenTpHwyRtn81pXkFcvjZQpAIwQtLcIaj2BU2anNC-wDUp9IVY54_now8M0oOikBU/s1600/_MG_5313.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Cut your paper into little pieces. I kept mine in paragraphs for the most part.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVxGrYgs-fx6gB_7Yc1GgLOoe6do9q7n2GUsvjkxNN4iY-_zGKvsxOtqgOd9ujLTw5OcBmujLeVftfo0nIk-bNQ4NQQdE8KAafmAr0btXmR_rfYblbN2Ngoug-bYq8fySyiGMCk6q5zjY/s1600/_MG_5316.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVxGrYgs-fx6gB_7Yc1GgLOoe6do9q7n2GUsvjkxNN4iY-_zGKvsxOtqgOd9ujLTw5OcBmujLeVftfo0nIk-bNQ4NQQdE8KAafmAr0btXmR_rfYblbN2Ngoug-bYq8fySyiGMCk6q5zjY/s1600/_MG_5316.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now it's time to start gluing!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiSAHKRbbsvLN9GtM81pm0bThr2bpz_xtf9U9Fh5sqzAcaLFxgj9JrCUGcULb6ORGv2W2G2AqZXpgoLDsDUPX09cZKbIQRokk_GWpwZrSUZ9ANEeOoiKsKaD2jhsclKyVn0nDXyVXmY870/s1600/_MG_5320.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiSAHKRbbsvLN9GtM81pm0bThr2bpz_xtf9U9Fh5sqzAcaLFxgj9JrCUGcULb6ORGv2W2G2AqZXpgoLDsDUPX09cZKbIQRokk_GWpwZrSUZ9ANEeOoiKsKaD2jhsclKyVn0nDXyVXmY870/s1600/_MG_5320.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It will look a little funky at first when the glue is still wet, but keep going because it will look good eventually. Also, take mini breaks so the glue can dry periodically, or else you'll have wet, gluey pieces of paper on top of wet, gluey pieces of paper and it'll get all gloppy. I like to make up my own words.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkyk9VnWdbBPyq_24O7jcE6orgfJdoSAA9frPNmiDfB4vSFczYukXK47caKVWYhN_3ii6hm89uDX0DU3i6EdBHUZbkLeHatWdXeg74dXcO-5PiZPO6BxFDX238bT27lgtJG9UFr86yjQs/s1600/_MG_5324.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkyk9VnWdbBPyq_24O7jcE6orgfJdoSAA9frPNmiDfB4vSFczYukXK47caKVWYhN_3ii6hm89uDX0DU3i6EdBHUZbkLeHatWdXeg74dXcO-5PiZPO6BxFDX238bT27lgtJG9UFr86yjQs/s1600/_MG_5324.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Keep going until it's all covered. You'll have to use smaller pieces around the bumpy features, like the eyes, nose and mouth.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiAuGDmlQaPK4ofUpAlNFvab-bms8lBQvK0qfnpsTTm1MydFIquRXaTY-kYrbO7l9xH5HRSglb3goDMRG0rNehQij-whkAnju7zzXes4BkZ0oUkcGLN1egu0Ev3w-EJ8_s2zyAY_6iBCeA/s1600/_MG_5327.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiAuGDmlQaPK4ofUpAlNFvab-bms8lBQvK0qfnpsTTm1MydFIquRXaTY-kYrbO7l9xH5HRSglb3goDMRG0rNehQij-whkAnju7zzXes4BkZ0oUkcGLN1egu0Ev3w-EJ8_s2zyAY_6iBCeA/s1600/_MG_5327.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Let it dry for a little while before putting it to use.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
Pretty cool, right? I so love it. It's kind of creepy at first, but once you stick a hat or a headband on it, it looks just plain awesome.</div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjKnmTheD9wmnV5nP0IG3j-JR_R_HukV-qiOfThO90XAMV4sPb9wJBlRs9LRo957U842jgl41R3QZcrlDnVfSXSupZLbozIGTksUVtYnJyWASXoxCZhNE_1of8-XY1tkCTYJ8wcC94YQ4A/s1600/page3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjKnmTheD9wmnV5nP0IG3j-JR_R_HukV-qiOfThO90XAMV4sPb9wJBlRs9LRo957U842jgl41R3QZcrlDnVfSXSupZLbozIGTksUVtYnJyWASXoxCZhNE_1of8-XY1tkCTYJ8wcC94YQ4A/s1600/page3.jpg" height="640" width="492" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My boyfriend and I just moved across town into the most perfect condo. It's so perfect. Anyway, I haven't been making much since a lot of my craft stuff is still in boxes. I did, however, get to make a few of these rain cloud (and heart) mobiles. I just think they're too cute.</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
First, you're going to want to print this pattern out and cut out some felt into cloud shapes and some raindrop shapes.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiIfSe6f_oQGhVo-Ca2UZgGwxGoswk_igVmHHjZPM0QS1Vm392uAiwS78G6NH3d-ei5ihfb1z2vz3UIAMzk65ZW_u9cQvDRP3iYtQ0UF0f8Ofb7XBFOS4xx5L6dKz3aytnM_VP9FcDPyhE/s1600/pattern.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiIfSe6f_oQGhVo-Ca2UZgGwxGoswk_igVmHHjZPM0QS1Vm392uAiwS78G6NH3d-ei5ihfb1z2vz3UIAMzk65ZW_u9cQvDRP3iYtQ0UF0f8Ofb7XBFOS4xx5L6dKz3aytnM_VP9FcDPyhE/s1600/pattern.jpg" height="412" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
You can make as many raindrops as you would like. On some, I made 10, others I did 8. Other than raindrops, you can make hearts or lightning bolts; whatever your heart desires!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqIc4YsilO6LhlakcgyGPPhf9wWmhix3uIbXy0u0Qsd473XDH-ksxAfgObN4kn_FxMIgjTHhezcBCIbndCsdlDrBKMR9EwOxm8DetLvwHBNfsNxUAR0I1DdsHa07dXS4jpl3eZDJE1siM/s1600/_MG_3648.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqIc4YsilO6LhlakcgyGPPhf9wWmhix3uIbXy0u0Qsd473XDH-ksxAfgObN4kn_FxMIgjTHhezcBCIbndCsdlDrBKMR9EwOxm8DetLvwHBNfsNxUAR0I1DdsHa07dXS4jpl3eZDJE1siM/s1600/_MG_3648.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Sew 'em and stuff 'em.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgW7l7EN1n8OWDUH90wXZLeT4GuJ-x96CI8q_8PtehGKZspPHetVjpvYR2ThqPYo-VEBrFV8DgJzSuJ4FYkkJbkUjyA1RMs7b5lv7O6BFTE_-sLjWvaRKtXKTtT07q-1xJ9Cc9hv_N03so/s1600/_MG_3654.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgW7l7EN1n8OWDUH90wXZLeT4GuJ-x96CI8q_8PtehGKZspPHetVjpvYR2ThqPYo-VEBrFV8DgJzSuJ4FYkkJbkUjyA1RMs7b5lv7O6BFTE_-sLjWvaRKtXKTtT07q-1xJ9Cc9hv_N03so/s1600/_MG_3654.JPG" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Arrange your raindrops (or whatever your shapes are) and cut a string or embroidery thread or something you have lying around that resembles string and attach the shapes to the cloud.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgngdRrF-qQc4zxaMwogdTryCpPNIHubzG9zb_Gk3O-q80DDtN1x2bY_wf4YrtZb5JmOQ8yuTP-q_MpqwVIDuMwZ1sb3sLmNxxqLTbs6J_XQQuC_WCMWF83_eSUpPYBcazWiKOAmQb5hIM/s1600/_MG_3655.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgngdRrF-qQc4zxaMwogdTryCpPNIHubzG9zb_Gk3O-q80DDtN1x2bY_wf4YrtZb5JmOQ8yuTP-q_MpqwVIDuMwZ1sb3sLmNxxqLTbs6J_XQQuC_WCMWF83_eSUpPYBcazWiKOAmQb5hIM/s1600/_MG_3655.JPG" height="634" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Attach a string at the top so it's hang-able. Pretty simple!</div>
